The game renders both graphics layers simultaneously so you can switch back and forth on the fly.
Neat.
CE to CEA switching H2 to H2A switching (30 seconds in) Unfortunately, due to it being a 360 game, CEA has a black screen between switching. H2A, because it's an Xbone game, is an instantaneous switch.

That'd be even more money and time wasted to create what is essentially a brand new model for 30 seconds of footage.
Not if they made it available as an armor permutation in multiplayer >.>
