I remember doing that back in Halo CE.
even though it wasn't a feature until halo 5?
you could swing the warthog and exit it getting into the gunner seat in less than a second. Basically the same thing.
except this looks better
>343i >look better
I agree, but these things shouldn't be implied to be together.
they are together
gotta keep that edge sharp though eh
They did one thing.
lol
bitch, you know I'm right.

If posts on the topic are just going to be "X is better", "No Y is" "Lol moron" - I'm going to have the thread locked. Either get back to discussing the topic, or let the thread die.
this is literally the topic though no less should be expected from a thread with a title like that

Just like Avatar, Life is Strange, Community, The 100, and everything else you have poor taste in
Community is literally the best sitcom ever made and possibly the best show ever made
lol case in point

Good character writing goes so far beyond simple dialogue. Gee thanks. I totally didn't know that. It doesn't change the fact that dialogue is an integral part of a character being good or not.
And it's actually in-character for the characters in LiS to talk the way they do. They go to a hipster art school, ffs. They're supposed to be pretentious and faux-intellectual. Even hipsters don't talk like they've just jumped straight out of the 80's. It's just another example of an out of touch foreign dev studio trying to write a game.
If you saw a grand church with majestic intricate architecture, but it has a stain on one of the windows, you'd probably say the whole church was garbage.
I wouldn't, nor is this even remotely a good comparison

If you need good dialogue to get attached to characters, you're watching TV/playing games wrong. Because I prefer characters to have decently written dialogue, which is one of the most integral parts of a character? Okay.

a meme-tier character. He was nothing more than a cliché black guy that existed solely for comic relief
There's been far far worse....
i don't know who that is

Who fucking cares about Spirits Within? Jesus, a company makes fun of one of it's failed project and everyone loses their minds. I feel people here played episode 1 of LiS and judged the entire game based on that.
nobody here is losing their mind besides you
you're the one sperging out
I'm more talking about the Internet in general. People freaked out over that line, like they were trying to bring back SW or something, when really they were making fun of themselves.
They were making fun of Life is Strange and Squeenix's laughable writing if anything
You misread my comment. "They" refers to the LiS devs. They were making fun of themselves. It's well known that Spirits Within was a failure, they weren't trying to bring it back or anything.
Yeah, and people online were making fun of Life is Strange and its laughable writing
No, people online were mad because they thought Square Enix was trying to saw that SW was a good movie, when really they were just making fun of themselves.
Whilst simultaneously making fun of Life is Strange and its laughable writing
Dialogue =/= writing
Dialogue is a part of the writing, you pillock
Key word there. The plot of LiS is incredible, and it's easy to get attached to the characters.
Dialogue is a key element to likeable characters. It's hard to get attached to characters if their dialogue hurts to listen to. Sergeant Johnson's lame death was more emotionally gripping than Life is Strange
His death was sad as hell...
lol Sergeant Johnson was literally a meme-tier character. He was nothing more than a cliché black guy that existed solely for comic relief
It's like you are programmed to have the worst taste in everything
It's not like I'm wrong, though. That's all he was. If you actually found it sad... just lol
