Hardly any devs do that, nor do the ones that do it skimp out on content for their games. CD Projekt Red released mod tools for The Witcher 3. The Witcher 3 is one of the biggest, most content packed games there is. The mod tools exist so their fanbase can expand upon what there already is. Bethesda release mod tools for their game, yet their games are full of content. The mod tools exist so their fanbase can expand upon what there already is. All of Mass Effect could hold off the UNSC via superior numbers Because that'd make a significant difference. An extremely weak universe is still an extremely weak universe even if they have extra extremely weak numbers on their side. faster ships That are also shit. Plus they rely on the Mass Relays to get anywhere. Speed doesn't really mean anything, especially when it's only certain ships that are faster. and hella durable reapers So durable that you destroy multiple Reapers throughout the series using piddlly little ships and weak ass weaponry. A single MAC round would rip through a Reaper. Covenant ships wouldn't even have to put in any effort to destroy Reapers. Maybe the Covenant, if they're alone. Before or after they bombard the planets with plasma, wreck ground forces, and decimate any and all ships the ME universe can throw at them? Mass Effect's tech wouldn't stand a chance against anything the Covenant have. TL;DR Mass Effect is comically weak

Why don't you actually give it a shot and form your own "intelligent" opinion before falling to the masses online who suddenly think because they played Fallout 1 and 2, AFTER they were introduced to the series with 3/NV, that they know what's better and what isn't.
