It was more writing about the news in the industry...a small part was how they worked. And even then, it's not like I'd be doing an engineer's job. It was more like knowing the difference between a Blackhawk and Apache helicopter. It was more of a research assistant.

So no Infection, KotH, Oddball, Assault, or Territories included with the game at launch. Very dissapointing. with the exception of Infection, those have all been a given since Halo 2.
I think they are in the game they're just not in the matchmaking play lists at launch

It obviously will though. Marketing spiel doesn't really hold much weight. Just look at Halo 3's "Finish the Fight" marketing campaign. Halo 3 left more things unfinished than things it actually finished. Locke will catch up to Chief. They'll fight. They'll talk. They'll work together.

The entire reason that I'm buying it is because they've enticed me with the offerings they're providing. If they hadn't, then I wouldn't be buying it.

Unless they're a self-publishing dev team, they don't If you don't give your money to these publishers, they'll have to entice you with better offerings. It's pretty simple, really.
