The difference is that this was cut intentionally and not the same situation at all.
Halo 2 was unfinished, ended on a cliffhanger and had broken MP because Halo 2 was in development hell. They ran out of time, thus Halo 3 finished it (although rather poorly).
Destiny has been in development since before Reach, so they had plenty of time.
Destiny is shit, and what Bungie are doing is shit.
This is something EA would do.

I like Assassin's Creed. The games are a good distraction that I can play for a few hours here and there. I will say that once I beat a particular game I have no desire to replay it, but I get my money's worth out of what I do play.
I'll be getting Unity when it's on sale on Steam.
You're best off waiting until reviews of the PC version anyway, because it's a Ubisoft game, and we all know how much they care about optimisation for PC *cough*WatchDogs*cough*

I think Halo 2's multiplayer was trash when people used exploits. I'm just tired to them calling it an Anniversary Multiplayer when it's like what they did with Reach and Halo CE:A Multiplayer.
It's Anniversary MP because it's a redone version of H2's MP for it's 10th anniversary. Not hard to understand. Just because it's not a totally new engine doesn't mean it's not anniversary MP. It's nothing like what they did with CEA either. CEA just had a Reach expansion. Halo 2A MP is a totally new and separate multiplayer and not just a Halo 4 expansion. I don't trust Certain Affinity with Halo anymore especially with the joke that was Halo CE:A because we all know that 343i's devs didn't do anything for Halo CE:A. 343 were massively understaffed and were developing Halo 4 at the time, so of course they got Certain Affinity to do it.
