Spartan IVs act like cocky college kids, I hate it.

Spartan IIs and Spartan IIIs true Spartans.

It's almost shameful for them to be called Spartans.
How is it?

The way they conduct themselves. You don't see The Master Chief giving people high-fives and bragging over a victory.

He is professional at all times.
So like how the Military is? Nothing wrong with that. They're professional on the battlefield and that's all that matters.
Chief is an indoctrinated sociopath who's known nothing but fighting and following orders. He's never actually had a life.

Sprint doesn't belong in Halo
I'm sorry Mr Objective Game Developer.

The Spartan 2's just like the Tigers took to long to make and they didn't have much of an impact in the war.

What about it? How does Halo being fiction mean we can't have discussions about the things in the lore?
You can, it just cracks me up
So how does talking about the lore that makes up the series you play crack you up?
Just cracks me up how seriously you guys take it.
It cracks me up how seriously you guys take Halo's MP.

I thought the S-III's were volunteers who consented to be sent on important but suicidal missions, no? It's been a while since I looked into Halo lore though.
No. S-IIIs were abducted as kids just like the S-IIs. The difference is that they weren't picked based upon their genetics.
S-IIs were children with the best genes, whereas S-IIIs were just any kind of kid.
Ah I see.
They took orphans who had their families killed by the Covenant, if I remember correctly.
It's just that I remember the H:Reach cinematic where teen Carter volunteers to be augmented, so that's where I got the impression from.

It was a promotional ad for the game though, so it could be non canon.
He wasn't a volunteer.
He looks like a consenting adult, not an orphan/kid.
S-IIIs were around 5 or 6 when they were conscripted. Carter was 11.
YouTube

fokin ell, did he hit puberty at 5?
They don't receive the augmentations as soon as they're conscripted you know.

Gaming / Re: The new zoom mechanic for Halo 5 is great.
« on: December 21, 2014, 11:36:34 AM »
Halo is growing ever closer to CoD.
The zoom had to be redone. The left trigger thing is a lot easier to use than constantly clicking the analog stick to get in and out of it. Simply holding the trigger in to zoom and letting go of it to get out is faster.
Then they could have just had a button layout with it.
There is. You can switch the control scheme so zoom is assigned to R3 like it always has been

I don't get what conclusion you've drawn from the picture that fits psy.

I thought that he was from Austria.
Who? Mr Psychologist? Or the guy in the picture?
