My answer remains the same. Just make Destiny 2 good.
I ended up posting it before I could do the OP. So I changed the title to let people know the thread wasn't ready yet. When I was doing the OP that's when it got locked.
The problem with making Destiny 2 good is that the first game is such shit. The first game has hardly a story so with the 2nd game they would either have to cram it all in that game or continue with what's not there. Even if the 2nd game is good the damage has already been done by the first game. Whatever they were hopping to do with it is not going to happen. There still is time to change that.
Dumping Destiny and starting fresh isn't financially viable, plus Activision has a say in what happens to the franchise.

CE still has the best splitscreen/LAN. H2A has the best Forge CE most certainly has plot, unlike Reach. CE doesn't have a lot of character development, but it has more than Reach. And literally only two levels are repetitive.

That's a small and symple synopsis of what Halo is about and where the game is set. Reach itself has no plot until the last two levels.
