I don't doubt EA's incompetence, I just think you're all jumping the gun here. All we've seen so far is a teaser and two minute trailer of the game. Oh yeah, we're totally jumping the gun. It's not as if EA aren't a bullshit company that's fucked up franchises, right? Besides, why the fuck are we arguing over publishers? Devs hold the majority of the creative control.

Halo 3 had a shitty plot but is one of the best in the series, and my personal favourite. Oblivion had a shitty plot but is considered second to Morrowind. The narrative doesn't make a game mang.
No, but it's far less of an RPG than ME1, which is bad. If Battlefront does indeed turn out to be shitty, then I'll hold my hands up and admit EA is the worst publisher in gaming. Until we actually get our hands on the game all you guys are really doing is just spouting baseless conjecture. EA already is the worst publisher in the industry. We're not making baseless claims either. Anyone with a brain can see how shit EA are. Them maybe having a good first installment to a franchise doesn't negate all of the bullshit they've done throughout the years.

Battlefront will very likely get EA-ified.
If they sequel the shit out of it, then yeah probably.
But a lot of their first entries are usually pretty good, i.e. Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Dead Space etc.
They had nothing to do with ME1. That was published under Microsoft Studios. DA:O and DS are from 2009 and 2008.
