To beat up Halo fanboys. Well that's why Charlie started them back on b.old at least since they'd go to rediculous lengths to perpetuate their belief that Halo was the best sci-if universe ever.
I used to enjoy the [insert superhero here] vs Spartan threads a lot. It was funny watching them trying to beat out OP superheroes with a Spartan's (mediocre in comparison) capabilities.

I'll look into whipping up a new gaming banner that goes with the others, though.
Use Isara's Gaming banner, but change the text to the one the rest of them use.
There are a few problems with using Isara's banner for Gaming:
1. It would force a re-design of the other banners for consistency.
2. It would need to be re-designed anyway, since the graphics on the right would be cut off on mobile and the "title" was weak.
Like I said, I'll throw a few what-ifs in here soon and get your opinions.

The Arbiter wins, no question.
Garrus is a cool guy, one of the best squadmates in ME, but can't take on The Arbiter.
Arby's tech, well Halo tech in general is just too advanced compared to Mass Effect.

Overall input was shit in AC I - Revelations. Felt clunky and friction-y. If you ran into something tiny like a flagpole, or a thin tree, Conner would just automatically throw himself around it, while Ezio would smash into it, stop there, and try to wall-run up it. Plus, you had to hold several buttons down to do basic navigation: that's just unnecessary. Navigating the forest in AC III felt pretty smooth (it'd feel smooth in the city if they weren't wide ass dirt roads).
I liked the really subtle changes to movement, where they placed the camera, how you could press LT to snap the camera to a more action-shot, how you could hold RT + A/B to do flashy jumps over/under obstacles.
Also, it was pretty cool how you could magnetize (I assume you're referring to snapping to cover, not buggy free-running) around corners, or between people doing stuff against walls and you'd "interact" with them (ex, you could lean on someone's trading booth and blend with the people in front of it in certain scenarios, etc...).
Also, I'm a little biased because I lived in the area.
Having to hold multiple buttons helped you to not magnetise to, and run up, a wall. AC3's movement was only good for clambering over things like fences so you don't stop. Otherwise it's utter toss.

What are their loadouts? Does Garrus get a sniper-type weapon? Does Thel get his sword?
I can't see Garrus winning at all in close combat, but if he has a sniper he might be able to pull off a win. Unless Thel gets close enough. Then Garrus is fucked.
Its any situation really. Dont forget Thel has a Carbine too, he's not limited to close combat with a sword.
Garrus would shitstomp Thel with a ranged weapon.
