$800 for everything (OS, Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, Tower)

My last friend decided to get an i5. Because he was able to get a monitor for about $30. I need to ask him where he got his Mouse+KB from.
yeah, if you can find him a cheaper monitor and kb+m, definitely get him an i5 instead. an i5k if possible.

No, they don't. Take it from someone who has a rather...trained eye for this kind of stuff. It's stylistically different since it was done by a different team, obviously aside from the stuff they just reused from Bungie. >a trained eye It's not hard to tell art styles apart, mate. And I'm not even talking about the art style here. Reach and CEA are essentially the same when when it comes to graphical fidelity. Anyway, we should probably stop derailing the thread.

I disagree, Reach looks better.
There are some areas that you can tell are just really lazily done, but there are some areas (specifically, the stuff they showed in the trailers) that are quite nice. It was lazy texturing, that's all. And the fact that I can try to be sniping and hit some invisible wall because the geometry is all different. Reach and CEA look the same. They both have shiity and lazy looking textures in multiple areas, but really nice looking stuff too. But yeah, fucking geometry. You must've not seen Johnson, or the fact that all the elites are lazy and sloppy recolors (not even correctly done).
Also the fact that flood elites are Halo 3 flood elites, meaning they have entirely different armor and feet. lol I forgot about Mario Johnson. Also, your blame is misplaced. Saber Interactive are the company that did CEA.

As shit as Reach might be, it had pretty good models. Especially the Elites. and they didn't even try to fix the lip syncing. Cortana is the only one who has a lip synch problem. Even then you barely see her (no I'm ot excusing it).

To be fair, it was kind of shitty. Mostly because you can tell a lot of it was lazily made.
It's a good "remaster" besides some of the hit boxes of of geometry not matching up with the new graphics, Cortana's rubbish facial animation, and Chief's tiny hands cutscene error. Plus the terminals were good.
