No they're not, a specific age has never been stated. Estimates were around 100 million years if anything, but certainly not something as crazy retarded as 100 billion years. If they were 100 billion years old they would have never been defeated by the Forerunners in the first place and would be all over the universe and still populating the Milky Way.
