Um... I was just building last night...
Hell, I just got him done last week.
But the new sets are good and you can't go wring with Lewa.. except that he uses the dumb new green. They're miles ahead of Hero Factory, although a bit more pricey.
At least until the summer sets come out.. they're so disappointing.

The Mahri/Barraki line was one of my favourites.
I dunno. I always liked the Lime Green Toa of Air (Lewa is Jungle now. Fuck you Lego).
Oh no, it's not lime green. It's the new "Green Lantern" green. It's ever so slightly brighter than regular green, but just enough to be too different.
But 2007 had to be my favorite year, and I've been around since the beginning.
Oh But still, it's Lewa. Lewa is great.

lol The Terminals tell Sadie's story. They have nothing to do with the Rookie. And it's an Engineer/Huragok, which downloaded the Vergil sub-routine of the Superintendent AI, and essentially became Vergil.

He was a popular character. I wasn't specifically referencing The Rookie when I made that statement IIRC. You said important at first, so... You can't say one thing but mean another. I'm sure if I cared to read more of the lore I could pull up a few more. You said all. I said they're not, because they're not. That is literally never explained even a little bit. The most we get is "they're not outfitted like standard military." I know The Covenant Remnant in Halo 4 wasn't explained. I never said it was.

I believe it's at least 2004, because one of the file boxes that Nigma was looking at had dates on it, ending in 2004.
But Gotham is one of those anachronistic cities with no real timeline. It has the grime of the 1930's, the police cars from the 1980's, and phones and TV's from 2000+
The TV's definitely weren't post-2000.
My bad. I was just picking some electronics. I can't picture what kind of TVs they have there.

I agree, but save some of the more important deaths for the game. Okay. The Rookie wasn't really that important of a character. They're wasting all of their valuable plot points on a medium that maybe HALF the fans will read. lol no they're not Instead of explaining to us what the fuck happened between the Covenant and Elites post-H3 they just throw us in the game "here you go guys you're fighting the covies again". C'mon.
What's there to know? The Elites left the Covenant, which collapsed; something you'd know from playing the Bungie Halos. The Covenant you fight in Halo 4 aren't the same Covenant you fight in the OG trilogy + spinoffs.

The key word was character not character development. I'd rather characters that made me chuckle and laugh rather then a squad of of grey characters that just shout "locust!" every five seconds. Reason being why Baird, Cole & Dizzy are the only characters I enjoy in the GoW games.
like I said Sargent Johnson is the one of the only character in halo to have a personality. Who else made you chuckle?

I don't care much for the reboot story either, but that's not going to put me off buying one or two of the new sets.
Fair enough, but in my case, the story was what kept me interested for all those years and was the main thing I liked about Bionicle, I very much did like the sets, but the story gave those sets more meaning than simple pieces of plastic with cool designs in my eyes.
Don't get me wrong, I liked the old story a lot, much for the same reasons as you. Hell, I even like the Bara Magna/Spherus Magna storyline. Nah. They don't look great. I still have my 200+ old ones that I need to sell at some point.

I impulse-bought Kopaka a month ago and they're pretty disappointing.
They made him too big and bulky, and the gold looks wrong on him.
Kopaka is goat, but the others look shitty.

Pohatu and Lewa are the better designed ones. Kopaka is too bulky and clumsy looking.
I just don't like that they use Hero Factory parts. They seem flimsy and easy to break.
Hero Factory might be Bionicle's downy cousin, but there's no denying they had some good parts. And I doubt they're as flimsy as the 2008-onwards Bionicle parts.
