If we've learned anything about 343i from the MCC, it is that Porting last gen games is the most incredibly complex process ever conceived by man, and that if anything about it works it's a miracle.
4 games running on 4 different engines and running on something that's a single game in itself, and coding all 4 games to be compatible with a completely different architecture than the 360 used is a massive task that has never been done before the MCC. Having to get it all work whilst MS are breathing down your neck and forcing you to get it ready for the holidays doesn't help either. So yeah, it is an incredibly complex task.

Seriously, it looks oversaturated as fuck, not to mention we all know there won't even be ANY firefight. What really bothers me is how badly I want to have my own ports let alone create my very own Halo game using existing Bungie assets, but that would only get me sued.
This is why I stick with the Xbox, PC, and 360 versions of the games.
Edit: Looking at it now I honestly hope that's just debug lighting.
You won't get sued for making your own Halo game as long as you aren't making any money off of it.

Well it would be an obvious freebie, but that's legal to do? I thought you could only make maps on the PC versions and revisions to whatever CMT is doing.
You're allowed to use Halo and other MS franchises as long as you don't monetize whatever it is you're making. You are allowed to make money on YouTube content that has MS' properties in it though. There's already two fan-made Halo games being made.

sunset overdrive is awful. all the exclusives are terrible except mcc
SSOD is great. The comedic writing is pretty wank, but it's a still a very fun game.
And the MCC wasn't even that great.
MCC was a trainwreck but the games are still good (except for H4.) Best FPS series for consoles, and its an exclusive. I think thats a much better example than SSOD, which is just an even more (failed) subversive version of Dead Rising.
Halo 4 is good. SSOD is great.
