I mean, if they can make it obvious that each variant is based off the same MJOLNIR foundation.
If they can make MJOLNIR truly modular again I'd be happy. You mean like how the different armour parts from H3 mostly looked like they were a single set even if they were mix-matched? They've already done that for Blue Team in Escalation, and ditching pretty much all of H4's awful designs in H5's Beta really helped too. btw, that comic is drawn really badly.

Fred, Kelly and Linda may be using GEN2 armour Besides that they obviously aren't. If Fred was wearing GEN2 he'd have the H2A GEN2 Centurion armour set. Or it's another branch of the armour, similar to how MKV Scout and MKVI Scout look radiaclly different. That's not the same scenario though. MKV and MKVI Scout is a generational leap, which is why it has a different look.

So like, is he not wearing GEN2 Mjolnir or what? And if not, how does his MKVI look similarly styled to Chief's heavily modified MKVI? Fred's Centurion armour from Escalation rendered in Halo 5's graphics engine GEN2 Centurion armour from H2A (don't know what the fuck Linda's variant is though). Kelly apparently still wears her MKVI EVA, but her armour in Escalation definitely isn't how EVA looks in Halo 3, nor is it GEN2 EVA. What's the deal with this?
