Any party that's against the EU is a good party.
Kill yourself.
He's right though.

Fuck the EU. Vote for based Farage.

Waiting for Blender to process an animation render... It's been 2 hours and it's only on frame 40 of 140.
Whatcha rendering?
Just a short animation for class, my model is more detailed than anyone elses, so It's taking triple the time to render.
Please show when done.

Gaming / Re: Will you buy Battlefront?
« on: April 23, 2015, 11:51:06 AM »
If it's good, I'll just pirate it.
Why would you do that
So I don't have to pay money?
Obviously, but that's just plain immoral. My question was basically a metaphor, for lack of a better word, for "why would you cheat people out of all the hard work they did to develop the game?"
Well, this is assuming that I actually decide to get Battlefront, which is pretty low on my priority list of games to get. And maybe it's because I don't care about the game developers.
So you'd pirate the game even if i's good? That's pretty backwards

How did it go from talking about and promoting a movie to his political views and his past?

Yes. It's one of my favourite games.
As an Assassin's Creed game it's pretty weak (the assassin story isn't focused on very much), but as an overall game it's bloody brilliant.
What do you like so much about it?
The characters
The way the characters act and interact
The naval combat (taking on a lot of ships and the legendary ships was a lot of fun)
The game world
Great looking environments
Sailing across a huge open sea and listening to the shanties

Skyrim is still one of the most played games on Steam, 4 years after release.
LOL no it isn't

modded skyrim is

PC gamers generally aren't casual gamers that only play dudebro shooters and sports games.
i specifically used the term "vanilla skyrim"

so that's going to include console skyrim, if not only console skyrim
Please show me the evidence that you apparently have that says every PC user that plays Skyrim is modding it.

Gaming / Re: The purpose of mods

Literally the worst logic ever.
Sure, if the game was awful and you modded it to make it somewhat good, then you'd have a point.
But for games like Skyrim? A game that's generally praised? Yeah, no.
"generally"

the only people who like vanilla skyrim are the same people who play games like call of duty and madden
and... nothing else

you know, casual gamers
you know, people who don't really care about games that much
Based on what metric?

Skyrim is still one of the most played games on Steam, 4 years after release. PC gamers generally aren't casual gamers that only play dudebro shooters and sports games.

I gotta say, I'm actually impressed by these poll results.
What about the 18%?

Lol.
This is way better than the polls on Bungie usually go, so...
Wait, what, really?

How much worse are the polls on Bungie?
Basically, flip the results.
That's fucking stupid.

But then on the other hand, most of Bungie.net is far younger on average and they don't really understand the whole social debate with transgenderism properly.
There's also a lot of dense and narrowminded religious people on Bnet.

So it's not insulting.
Because other idiots don't find it insulting? Why should I care about their incorrect opinion?
>incorrect opinion
You see? This is why your argument is meaningless.

You're literally retarded. Modding absolutely does not mean you don't respect the original work.
Yes, it does. If you respected the original work, you wouldn't mod it.
Literally the worst logic ever.
Sure, if the game was awful and you modded it to make it somewhat good, then you'd have a point.
But for games like Skyrim? A game that's generally praised? Yeah, no.

Because developers support it.
So?
So it's not insulting.

Because the original work still fully exists.
But no one uses/respects it but me, apparently. And apparently I'm boring for doing so.

It's fanfic. You don't decide anything, they do.
It's their own story built off of yours.
And why should I be okay with that? Because every other author is? No thanks.
Does it hurt you? No.
Does it suddenly replace the original work? No.
Do they get every single scrap of credit? No.
Can you stop it? No.

Gaming / Re: The purpose of mods

Just because you find it insulting doesn't mean it's an insult.

See how this works?
While that's true, you've yet to show how it's not an insult. I've given my reasons for why I think it's an insult already.
Because developers support it.
Because the original work still fully exists.
Because it harms literally nobody.

Gaming / Re: The purpose of mods

Because NO. There AREN'T any fucking My Little Ponies in my story. That's not what fucking happened. You don't get to decide what happens--I do.
It's fanfic. You don't decide anything, they do.
It's their own story built off of yours.

I shouldn't have to explain why plagiarism is bad, either.
It's not plagiarism if it's explicitly stated to be built off of something else.
It's plagiarism if they claim it's their own 100% original work.

As an amateur writer, I don't find it insulting if my book gets enough fanfare to the point where people can take characers, places and events from my world and pour their own creative juices in it.
That doesn't mean anything to me. Just because you don't "find" it insulting doesn't mean it's not an insult.
And just because it may not have been intended as an insult, doesn't make it not an insult, either.
Just because you find it insulting doesn't mean it's an insult.

See how this works?

Gaming / Re: The purpose of mods

You should feel good that your book has a big enough following that people will add their own creations to it for Fanfiction.
Why? It's insulting. Not to mention, plagiarism.
Literally how?

But Lemon, art and stuff.  ART.

Modding ruins art with....MORE ART!
You probably think graffiti is okay, too. JUST because it's pretty.
Not even remotely the same.
Graffiti covers up whatever it's on. Modding literally affects nobody elses game but your own.
