I was looking at those reveal to final product comparison images, and noticed that the newer build is way more saturated than what they originally showed off.
Those comparison pictures that pointed out the downgraded stuff? I'd hardly call those reliable.

Oh I know. But that's not my point. It's the engine itself, and other things. There are plenty of games on the PS4 and X1 that look better than Unity and run just fine.
Major difference is that pretty much all of them are either linear or much smaller open worlds.
