You can't blame a culture for promoting having children as that is required to stop the culture from going extinct. I can when such a thing is no longer necessary.
Unless you're hiding an mortality potion and the means to mass produce it then what you said is completely false, a culture cannot survive without reproducing.
Why is casual sex good? Isn't it by definition of a lower standard than non-casual sex? Why is it bad? Why is it of a "lower standard"? Just because it's not for some people doesn't mean that society should look down upon it.
You still haven't answered why it's a good thing. And what I was trying to say was that you don't call this kind of sex "sex" but "casual sex", the prefix changes the meaning and I don't see how it implies the sex is good, but I can see how it implies it's of a lower quality/standard than normal sex.
Why is group sex good and worth promoting? Uh, because it's fun and causes no harm? Don't go fuckin' Verby on me, here.
You're the one saying reproduction isn't necessary, that's verb's line. You should already know that something being fun is not a justification for it because anything can be fun. And you haven't explained at all how it isn't harmful, both to the individual and society.
Speaking as a man I find the idea of having sex with a woman that has fucked other men, especially large amounts of other men to be disgusting, so I have to ask why you approve of this behavior; do you find it attractive? do you think society benefits from it? Why do you find that idea disgusting? Not that I'm saying you HAVE to find it attractive or you're some kind of bigot, but you should probably look at the reasons why. Would you feel disgusting hanging out with a man who's been with a lot of women? This sort of thing - female sexual activity being equated as a negative while the opposite is true for men - is exactly the type of thing that I'm talking about hating.
I specifically said " having sex with a woman that has fucked other men" I will never fuck a man so there's no inherent disgust, but If the guy's fucked more than a few then I have to wonder what he's doing with his life and/or if he has some reason for not being in a stable relationship. I may hold men and women to different standards but don't mistake that for me not holding either group to any standard. As for my disgust, first off sticking my dick where another man, or multiple men, have stuck theirs (and might have came in as well) is fucking disgusting and a health risk. Then I have to wonder why the women allowed it to happen: is she easy? is she bad at choosing men? does she have some serious baggage to her? does she just like to fuck whoever, and so i wont even be with her for long? You see I'm a man that's only interested in a woman if I can see myself marrying her and starting a family, and there is not a single answer to "why has she fucked so many men" that could possibly make me attracted to her or value her more.
Also i'm not sure what you're talking about with sexuality being worse than violence The TV show Hannibal features a scene commonly referred to as "angels", wherein he has strung up two individuals in a very sadistic position with their backs torn open and hung so that they protrude from their backs like the wings of an angel, as shown below.
Both of the figures in the scene are entirely nude, and when seen from the front, viewers were able to see the female corpse's nipples. The censors wouldn't allow that, saying that it was "too mature", and so the fix was to slit the corpse of the female's throat and have the blood flowing over her breasts, as seen below.
That is what I mean by sexuality being worse than violence.
you should've made it clear you were talking about Hollywood. Fuck Hollywood.
And as for polyamory, are you a cuckold? Lmao, how the fuck do those even relate at all?
"Oh, you're gay. You into BDSM, then?"
"Hey I'm in an open relationship, anyone want to fuck my girlfriend for me?" That's what a cuckold is, that's what your advocating for.

The topic is about the myth of the billion moderates. Not Israel.
I find it funny how neither of you have anything to say about this though, because it just destroyed your pathetic and incorrect worldview. Specifically you, Icy.
Try reading your own damn thread: If this were a religion of peace then these numbers should be 100% against suicide bombing. The fact that it is nowhere near that aside from Tunisia (and even then it's only 90%) is really damning.
I dislike both groups, but that doesn't mean I'm going to simply ignore atrocities because it happened to them.

How does that justify bombing those residential areas, schools, and hospitals?
What is Israel supposed to do?
They give warnings to people to evacuate when they fire back.
They're supposed to not kill civilians. If they weren't targeting civilian areas then they wouldn't even need to rely on a warning system that doesn't even work.

Not exactly dancing in the street but:
Moreover what I'm concerned about is that publicly trying to lay any blame on culture, race, or political ideology that isn't European/white/nationalist isn't allowed. Maybe just maybe Islam isn't very peaceful, maybe blacks and Hispanics are more violent(http://www.amren.com/news/2015/07/new-doj-statistics-on-race-and-violent-crime/). And speaking as someone from an immigrant family, there is no goddamn excuse for entering a country illegally, comply with the system or don't enter at all; so it is quite justified to remove those people.
Also it's almost midnight for me too so i'm happy to put this conversation aside for another time.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/fact-checker/wp/2015/11/22/donald-trumps-outrageous-claim-that-thousands-of-new-jersey-muslims-celebrated-the-911-attacks/
There is a more detailed version on the dancing in the street. A few people doing a few stupid things shouldn't suddenly = the entire people being blamed. A few white people shooting up schools shouldn't suddenly mean all white people are dangerous, right? Or one pro-life guy shooting up that Planned Parenthood place? Not all pro-life people are bad right? Funny thing is though that if he was Muslim, it'd be portrayed entirely differently.
And people in poverty tend to be a bit more violent for a variety of reasons. Some of which I'm sure you know. Islam in the US has never really been a problem at all. We can bring up remote incidents I suppose, but you can't really sit here and tell me the religion isn't compatible with American values, when they've been here for a long long time and have led perfectly normal lives, abiding by the law, and making dosh. If you wanna talk about incompatible, just look at a shit ton of conservative people trying to still deny human rights like work places discriminating against gays and what not. THAT'S incompatible.
And yes I agree with you on illegal immigration being bad, but to propose barring them off from a chance to immigrate at all is nothing short of lunacy to me. Hell, let them try to enter the normal way anyway. I bet our immigration system will make them want to give up anyway given how complicated and stupid it is.
And on another random note, your name reminds me way too much of this certain character and it distracts me
While I certainly have an anti-Muslim swing to my opinions, I am posting in this thread specifically because I'm not sure how exactly Muslims integrate into American society and culture. And while there Is a higher level of paranoia over Muslims it isn't unjustified; there's no Christian state of Iraq and Syria, there's no concept of a pro-life jihad against non-believers; it really is the responsibility of Muslims that don't want to be associated with those ideas to make it clear to everyone else what it is they stand for and how they differ from other Muslims. As for banning them from immigrating, I suppose that if America had a Muslim problem, or was perceived to have one, then putting immigration on hold until it could be sorted out would be reasonable, but I'm in no position to verify that if/then statement. And my name is taken from a musical term that I use whenever I need a name for an rpg, I wouldn't be surprised if that pony is based on music in some way.

]I couldn't answer that, however I remember hearing that Muslims living in the US were more moderate than Muslims living elsewhere, perhaps the reason is because the US integrates different cultures so well? I'd have to look into it to give you a definitive answer.
Muslims in America have literally never been crazy and integrated well into America and their culture. The religion doesn't impede any of that in the slightest over here to my knowledge. You don't ever hear Americans here crying out for Sharia Law, or "dancing on the streets" during 9/11 or some other crazy crap.
The people saying Muslims in America aren't compatible with American culture and values have probably never once even thought about that until it was brought up by media or polls or some shit. I guarantee you the people on this website who believe that, wouldn't have said that even so much as 5 months ago. It seems Americans are always looking to pin their problems and paranoia's on something, be it blacks, communists, mexicans, or more recently, Muslims.
People need to understand that blaming issues entirely on one race or religion is extremely dangerous and a slippery slope. It really says something about the state we're in when legit questions in our presidential race are talking about deporting thousands of people, or barring people entirely from this country based on a country they came from, or religion they may have.
We've tried barring people from our country before under the auspices they were dangerous, a threat to American values, and the other stuff you've heard. They were called the Jews and they were fleeing from Nazi Germany. We decided to ignore the real horrible shit going on and just brand them all under one label. Really swell how that one worked out for us.
Now we can't stop licking Israel's asshole out of our guilt for it.

Question: why would Muslims ever want to go to America considering it's not an Islamic country and never will be, and furthermore why would you want to bring Muslims into your non Muslim country?
Looking from the outside American culture and Muslim culture appear incompatible with one another.
"Why would we not want cultures to remain stagnant for the remainder of eternity?"
You're really begging the question there. How does Muslim culture improve American culture? and if it doesn't, why would you advocate for it?
Cultures don't have to "improve upon" or "take away from" other cultures to be beneficial. Culture sharing is beneficial at its core.
Do I advocate for Americans to start following Shariah Law and wearing hijabs? No, of course not, but I don't advocate for anyone to do these things and would say that moving past odd laws like that is one of the great benefits of culture sharing.
That makes more sense than your first post, but now I have to ask what kind of sharing you're talking about, and whether or not Muslims need to be in America to do so.
Integration and understanding of one another's culture is basically something that's always happened throughout history. Cultures that attempt to stay stagnant and "hidden" from the remainder of the world tend to end up poorly.
Now, this isn't saying that we should leave other, more "primitive" (from a technological point of view) cultures on their own, but we also shouldn't be scared of naturally adopting aspects from other cultures through integration.
So are you saying that America is stagnant and has been hiding it's culture from the world because it lacks Muslims? And what aspects of Muslims culture are you proposing Americans adopt?
I think she's talking more generally rather than specifically Muslims and America. People moving into a new country should be expected to be able to freely express their original culture and ideas while also adopting the ideas and culture of the place they moved to. Think the Maori peoples in the 60's and 70's with the revival of their culture and more integration of it in NZ society, compared to the decline and essential erasing of their culture in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. While not two completely different cultures coming together from opposite sides of the world, it's an example of what Cindy's talking about.
hope you get what i mean im bad at this whole discussion thing
I do see your point, but I am talking specifically about Muslims in America, two cultures that seem incompatible, whereas Maori and British culture are more capable of coexisting.

I find it almost terrifying that being proud of your nation's accomplishments isn't a majority view. The traditional European way of life with European technology is fucking fantastic.
Here's a question for you.
Why should you be proud of your nation's accomplishments?
In most cases, pride is and should be reserved for something you accomplish. You build something that's really damn good? You're gonna be prideful about it because it was either difficult to accomplish or it came out fantastic. Or both. But you're prideful over it because it was you who did it.
Why the fuck should you be prideful over a birthright? You didn't even attain it through any effort whatsover. You just happened to stumble on it because of the circumstances you were born in. It's almost like an accident, really.
"Proud of your nation's accomplishments."
"Hey, good job dead guys behind me that allowed me to be born in this country. I'm just gonna dick ride and take pride in past accomplishments I did literally nothing to attain other than being born on a patch of earth."
Give me a break. That's some human tier stupidity in action right there.
Because everything I have ever accomplished in my life and will ever accomplish is built upon the achievements of the people that came before me. I'm alive because of my parents, who are alive because of my grandparents, and so on; that alone is something to be proud of, life is a very precious thing and should be treasured, because it's finite and fragile and requires effort to maintain; but also because it's unique, being alive is distinctly different from any other natural phenomena. Now the reason why me and my family and ancestors are/were able to stay alive is because they claimed some land and worked their asses off for it; they turned empty fields and dense forests into places fit for raising a family and making a society, and they did so by co-operating with the people around them. I live in New Zealand and the country was just a bunch of tribes at war with each other until the Colonists stepped in and brought their technology and way of life here and made it a place worth living in. I'm extremely grateful because of that and extremely proud that people from the British isles were able to sail all the way around the world just to tame a few island at the bottom of the world so that everyone I know and myself could live comfortably. I'm also damn proud that because of my countrymen my Grandma and Grandad were able to stop starving to death in poverty in Ireland and start over here. They've been trying their hardest their entire life and they could only succeed because so was everyone else in this country. I'm grateful that I've been able to live a peaceful life and so has everyone else I know, we're not at war or in conflict or short of resources, we're happy and content with a simple way of life that was given to us. You're right that I didn't choose to be alive and that I didn't build this country myself, but my ancestors and other kiwis gave me a world to live in and brought me into that world out of love and determination, I'm really struggling to convey just how amazing that is.

Care to explain a bit more?
>Negative female societal expectations for sex juxtaposed with a positive male societal expectation for sex >Social stigmatism against sexuality, often equated as worse than violence >Little acknowledgement of asexuality, virginity being held as something bad to have to men and bad to lose for women >The entire concept of physical virginity in women >Expectations to have kids >Disapproval of casual sex >Disapproval of group sex >Disapproval of polyamory from both a sexual and romantic standpoint

Fuck you, you lunatic.

Did any of you ever read The Selfish Gene? I'm not sure how somebody could read the book and not see how useful the concept of a meme is for understanding information; every-time you misshear a song and sing/hum the wrong tune a new meme is made; every single letter and symbol you've ever seen is a meme going about it's existence; every bad joke and good joke and variation on a joke is just memes shuffling around and being selected on. Every piece of scientific and mathematical knowledge is a finely crafted meme that can be used to influence the world and make more memes. Your strategies for making friends and getting laid is just you playing your memes off of someone-else's. This whole post and this website and your thoughts themselves are memes.
The information is everywhere around you and now you have a word that perfectly describes this, isn't that wonderful?

There has been a total of 3 major terrorist attacks within Western Europe this year. Two of them in one country.
Whereas there has been 353 mass shootings in the US this year alone.
I'll let you decide which is the more dangerous place to travel.
http://www.shootingtracker.com/wiki/Mass_Shootings_in_2015I'd like to remind you that there has only been 353 mass shootings if you redefine mass shootings to mean a shooting where 4 or more people are at least wounded, not even killed just wounded. Calling that a mass shooting is a corruption of language itself.
