I've only played the demo but I found it to be fairly good. It's not a mind shattering masterpiece or anything but in the cesspit of hipster trash and abandoned early access games that the indie games market has become it's certainly a gem.

at most isis has 60k troops
and they're losing ground to fucking kurds and iraqi troops so US troops really won't have a problem

plus like slash said who wouldn't want to paint the ground red with sandnigger blood

If they're not a significant threat couldn't we just defeat them via proxy by channeling funds and equipment to Kurdish and Iraqi forces and not deploy any of our own troops?
The Iraqi army has to want to fight for that to work.

I'm not too up to date on the chaos going on in Iraq and Syria. Is the current Iraqi army incompetent or something?

If we have a draft, I'm going to Canada
Because there was a draft for the troop surge in OEF
Besides, you're medically except yet.

Basically this. There's no real reason for the US to have a draft right now. ISIS isn't a devastating and technologically advanced war machine they're just a militant group of psychopaths who rely on left behind US military equipment and black market arms. We shouldn't have too much of a problem dealing with them or at least I'd assume so. I could be wrong.

It's a shit port with almost nobody playing it. Don't waste your money.
I'm not looking for multiplayer

I just want to play campaign since I've never played halo 2's campaign

Would I be better served buying an OG xbox copy and playing on my 360?

Yes, yes you would. The PC port of Halo 2 is garbage. The only person I can think of that actually plays it is Deci.

It's highly unlikely. My guess is the only time we'd ever have another draft would be if there was a national crisis like some foreign power attacking the US which probably won't happen anytime soon.

Activision and EA for reasons clear to everyone, Bungie because they're sellout whores and Phil Fish because he's a  pretentious douche and one trick pony who thinks he's hot shit for making a fairly decent indie game that was heavily based on a Japanese freeware game.

Why would I? If it's what you like doing, are willing to potentially sacrifice a stable income and are well aware that the odds of you becoming a succesful actor are very much against you, then you should go for it.

And now the derailment and second round of flaming occurs.

It's entertaining and often times funny. That's really the only justification that needs to be made for it.

I love how people act like "logic" is some big trump card and that emotions should have no play in anything. "HURR DURR WELL YOU CAN ONLY JUSTIFY THIS FROM AN EMOTIONAL STANDPOINT AND NOT A PURELY LOGICAL ONE SO IT DOESN'T EXIST AND I'M GONNA KEEP BEING AN ASSHOLE." Sorry, is the human race populated entirely full of sociopaths? It isn't, since that was a rhetorical question, and trying to act like emotion doesn't play a roll in anything we do and that it excuses you being a bigoted cuntbag just because it's not a purely logical action - especially in the realm of MENTAL DISEASES THAT ARE HEAVILY EFFECTED BY A PERSON'S EMOTIONS - is just fucking stupid, narrow-minded, and a poor justification for hatespeech, as most other things revolving around transphobia are.
I wouldn't even say there's a need to get defensive whens someone makes a logic-based attack against gender dysphoria, because I don't see that as an honest means of taking arguments down. You can make 100% logic-based arguments for trans people.
Pls make me a case for trans people without factoring emotions into the equation whatsoever

I'd imagine the differences in the brains of trans people compared with the brains of cisgender people in terms of the demonstrable incongruity of body and mind could be a case that doesn't involve personal emotions.

No, it's entertaining to watch Chally go on self-righteous rants about how everyone except for him in the thread is wrong.

Does the story to Halo 5 really even matter all that much? I'd imagine most people would get it for the multiplayer since Halo has some good ass multiplayer.
Not for a long time it hasn't.

Halo 4 was bad and MCC was broken and the population dropped harder than a boulder in a river.

This doesn't surprise me at all.

This kind of stuff shouldn't have to be explained. Yes, there is bigotry towards trans people. If you want proof just do some quick Google searches.
Nobody is denying there's bigotry.

I'm saying the suicides after gender realignment surgery are not all caused by bigotry.

I apologize for misconstruing your post. I'm kind of zoned out a bit.

Have you been living under a rock or something?
I'm sorry, am I supposed to take this pathetic post as irrefutable proof for the argument that all transgenders who get realignment surgery and commit suicide afterwards do so because of bigotry, even though it's incredibly difficult to tell that they are transgender?

They're not all happy, however. They're killing themselves even after surgery and having support. Why? Because they have a mental illness.
or because they live in a world of bigots who treat them like shit after surgery
Where's your proof for this?

I find this hard to believe seeing how they got the surgery to look like the other gender. If I saw Nuka in real life and I didn't know he was transgender, I'd have no idea that he is a transgender.

Yeah I don't buy it.

that doesnt make any sense. how do you not accept mental illnesses? they exist. they're real.
I mean I don't accept them to be incurable diseases we need to work around.

Gender dysphoria is a mental illness. This is a fact. And just like all the other mental illnesses that plague our species, we need to eradicate them from existence.

Like we've been trying to tell you. The only treatment that has given results is what you're against which is hormone therapy and occasionally surgery.
I'm sorry, but that just doesn't cut it. We need to heavily research into this and come up with something better than "well they commit suicide a little less with this treatment". That's pathetic.

One of the main reasons that so many of them attempt suicide is because of social factors such as abandonment by friends and family, inability to access medical treatment and cultural stigma. If there was a treatment for gender dysphoria that was more effective and didn't involve the risks of hormone therapy and on certain occasions painful surgey then that would be great but sadly there isn't.

I've never experienced what it's like to be short since I'm 6'3" but I'd imagine it's not too fun being a really short dude.
ive always felt awkward in public because of how big i am. there no way for me to walk into a room and everyone not immediately see me. im not just tall, but im barrel chested and broad shouldered, so i cant blend in in public at all. being tall isnt all its cracked up to be :c

I never really paid any attention or gave a shit. Height is something beyond a person's control so mocking someone for their height is essentially on the same level as mocking someone for their race or nationality.

Hormone therapy and occasionally surgery if the patient chooses to go through with it are the only treatments that work and improve the patient's quality of life right now at least from what I know. They're not hurting you or anyone else at all by living their lives the way they want to so I don't see why you have such a big problem with this.

>The latest south park was spot-on
>"How dare you ask people to not be cunts, if you go on the internet and you're fat then you deserve to be insulted you worthless piece of shit"

This season of southpark has been edgy, but I dunno about "spot-on."

It wasn't condoning any form of harassment it was just making fun of Tumblrina crybabies.
It had a whole song basically saying "you're an idiot if you think you can go somewhere and have the right not to be harassed, this is the real world so suck it up because obviously it's always that easy, you're a bunch of whiny crybabies and we're better than you."

How the hell is getting mean comments on Twitter harassment?
I mean...it's actually pretty literally the definition of harassment, lol

But I'm not referring to anything of that sort, since the song isn't about anything of that sort.

What is the "song" about then? The message I got from the episode is that you should deal with negative interactions and feelings in an adult manner and that people's opinions aren't going to always be favorable of you.
You know, the song, "My Safe Space." The one that basically mocks people for having places they can go away from harassment and insult to feel better about themselves and receive support for themselves, basically calling these people pussies.

O W T H E E D G E
The song seemed like was simply mocking people who try to make the internet a better place for themselves by censoring dissenting opinions and not necessarily people who just want to have their own little chat of friends.

Everyone likes me and thinks I’m great in my safe space (In My Safe Space)

You might call me a pussy, but I won’t hear you in my safe space. (In My Safe Space)

Bully proof windows.

People that support me, mixed in with more people that support me, and say nice things!

Rainbows all around me. There is no shame in my safe space. (In My Safe Space)

Bully proof windows.

I am going to tear down your safe space, brick by brick I shall smash it with glee…

What? WHO IS THAT?

You cannot stop me from getting inside. I am cold, I am hard, and my name… is REALITY

Oh, no. Not reality. Somebody stop him!

I’ll take care of him

I’ll take care of him Jenny you can’t ruin our lives, Reality – our space space will keep you out.

Rat!

We can face almost anything. But reality we can do without.

No…

Bully proof windows, Troll safe doors…

Who’s Next?

What about that sounds like it's about internet censorship, lad?

Like I said it seems to be more along the lines of people who try to purge points of view they don't like on social media and create echo chambers. I'm not really sure if you can really call that internet censorship though.
