I am on the edge of tearing my own fucking scalp off. Fuck not just the Capra demon but that whole area. Why do the enemies aggro through walls? Why are the dogs so fucked up? Who designed this shit. Why can the capra demon hit me from far below where I am while i'm still blocking with Magic sheild?
I'm this close to fucking killing myself.
Capra is a fucking beast, no lie. One of the worst things about sl1 runs.

I've done it. There's even people who speedrun it. The only really difficult parts are Kalameet, Manus and Four Kings. Kalameet and Manus because they resist anything you can throw at them and Four Kings because your DPS is so low that you'll end up fighting 3-4 simultaneously.
I'm not saying it's impossible, it's just insane.
It's hard enough sl1 pyro pain training bosses.
Gotta separate the men from the boys somehow.
And here I thought I was manly for doing sl1 at all. Back to the drawing board I guess.

I'm not digging the npc invaders tbh. They made them emulate real players, which is cool, but the problem is most invaders are insufferable cunts.
Nothing could possibly be worse than an Estus Chugging Katana/Hex user who taunts despite losing having been pretty much defeated 3 times over
They fucking enemy bait and chug estus now. They also counter pursue like a motherfucker, you chase after them to stop the chug and they stop on a dime and attack.

He's the fucking abyss walker. You get his ring to fight the four kings. He's the leader of gwyn's elite group of Dragon slayers. Dude was on the cover of the game for fuck's sake.
Plus his bad ass sword and pupper companion.
Yes, he's cool himself, I like him a lot and his lore is brilliant, I'm on about the fight itself, it didnt stand out to me.
He's one of the only bosses that felt like fighting another person. He wasn't some gigantic Dragon/creature and he didn't need to double team you. He was quick, his animations were cool and the way he carried himself was pretty awesome. Fighting him at a lower level really brings out all the subtly awesome things about the fight.

Yeah verb, you get invincibility frames when you roll as well. It isn't so much about where you are when you roll or where you end up, but about when you roll.
Rolling is hands down the best way to play. Shield up all the time will get you punished later on when the enemies one shot drain your stamina.
Get the timing down for rolling, with your history of fighting games it should be cake for you.

Look at me, late to the party.
Artorias fight dethroned the Ornstein fight from DS2 as my favorite. I like bosses like these that are aggressive but not too aggressive (fuck Gwyn) so you have to wait for the right moves to ease a hit in.
Plus his moveset was cool to watch.
Yeah the artorias fight is one of my all time favs, especially since I had to wait so long to get to it. He was such a cool character and then you get to meet/fight him.
