Even worse is the grind for Concord Kept.
It's so difficult to get them legitimately. I had to farm silver knights.
Yeah I bet that's irritating. I've only seen one blue summon.
Barely anyone is in the way of blue, so it's difficult to get summoned to begin with.
What makes it worse is that the host is usually dead by the time you join or shortly after you've joined. It spawns you too far away so you can't even reach the invader in time. And if someone else kills the invader or the host enters a fog wall you don't receive the covenant item.
Lol that's got to be the most irritating thing ever. Dark souls 2 did it right, the covenant was right at the beginning and it would summon you close to the host.

DS3 PVP is already pretty laggy as it is, so it might not be that much worse for you. It feels pretty different from DS1 and DS2 with there being a lot of phantom range even in good connection fights and noticeable delay between every attack actually hitting and registering.

Jesus Christ I was going up against some ax user and the range of his weapon was like 5 feet longer than it was showing on the screen and one out of every three hits would end up registering on him. I mean I managed to drain him of all his health and mana estus, but he won in the end due to attrition. Had the lag not been in his favor the fight would have been over in under a minute.
I only see this when I invade. Some of the fight clubs I've been in have been excellent.

He has delayed attacks, I always seem to dodge a half second too soon and get punished for it. He starts a swing and then just leaves it hanging there for a second before continuing.
