I don't know about how creative you are, but I could think of some ways to make sure than anything with a fun switch or maybe a bump stock empties itself when you want to end it.
Yeah I considered that, but verb doesn't seem like that kinda guy. Hair trigger and a simple fishing line pull would work.

Dietrich doesn't know what a shotgun is, either.
If you shoot yourself with a shotgun it's going to be point blank. It doesn't leave a lot of little holes, it's one gigantic hole, and that's assuming you're using something like bird shot to kill yourself. Source: look up any picture of shotgun suicide, ever, in the history of shotguns. OT: don't rig a complex system of pulleys to allow you to pull the trigger of a shotgun that's positioned five feet from you. If you do, don't use bird shot because there's a pretty good chance you're going to survive for a while.
