Now, here’s an interesting question:

Spoiler
Was Thanos really a villain? I can’t really fault his logic. He wanted to avoid extinction due to overpopulation. He didn’t see any species capable of stopping unchecked growth. He just removed the choice. I don’t know. That kinda makes Verb Thanos.
Spoiler
mass genocide instead of just making resources or whatever with the Infinity Gauntlet seems a bit extreme

"Dread it. Run from it. The White man still arrives."

Kind of an odd line for Spider-Man to say when he arrived to fight Thanos, but I guess it made sense in context.

It's easier/cheaper to build floating cities over Venus, which is also closer to Earth's gravity.
also this

based venus where air is a lifting gas

heading sunward is pretty costly in regards to D-V though, and Venus doesn't really have much going for it. Plus the plan for doing an aerostat colony basically looks like

>go to venus
>air is a lifting gas so cities can float in the clouds
>???
>profit

nobody's quite figured out how we actually get from A to B
based

Promordium was so weird. I can remember certain parts of it but not how they fit together. It was such a hard book to get through with how boring it was.
did that thing where they brought guilty spark back & he took over a ship to find the librarian ever actually go anywhere

or did they just never mention it again
It's been mentioned, it just hasn't gone anywhere.

In fact a crewman from the Rubicon kills the Arks monitor.

Oh look, a kid with no perspective on the history of gaming.

Let me give you a little: Except for a small dip in quality on consoles (the Atari crash), the 80s was fucking awesome for gaming. Early 90s? The same. Fucking awesome. Mid-90s was when it started to go to shit because Nintendo and Sony reacted to Sega's aggressive early 90s marketing in the USA that still produced high quality games on average, so they moved to style-over-substance shit gaming with bad gameplay in pretty games like Donkey Kong Country (seriously, compare controls in DKC with the vastly better Mario World, another platformer) and then Mario 64 which had horrible controls and LAUGHABLE gameplay, meanwhile Sony put all their eggs into the fucking 3d basket and released garbage shovelware and shit moviegame garbage like MGS. PC gaming was okay until Half-Life dumbed down the FPS genre to mediocrity, and it just went downhill from there.

I've been there since the Pong days. I've watched gaming die. You kids? Not so much.
Know what? Fuck you. I'm leaving this group when I wake up tomorrow. I'm tired of fucking haters everywhere I go. I dropped out of school just because of that. I've moved to many places, that's not home. So no, I don't live with my parents. I haven't done you guys a damn thing, why u gotta comment that muchh bullshit? I have feelings too, like everybody else on this planet. Since 1st grade people have been on me. Even the teachers. When I was 13, I started smoking pot, and other stuff. Also used to drink alot, end up in fights, but I came out of it. And now i'm trying to be myself, and I still got hate. One of my family members died for not long ago too, so i'm really upset. I joined this group to make new friends, and this is what I get. Again, I haven't done u guys anything wrong, so why won't u just show some fuckings respect?

why did you get upset that they put something in the film. Like I think the concept of "things I know: the movie" is garbage too, but it's not like Gundam being in the movie ruined Gundam forever. Oh no, Gundam was in a stupid pandering film, guess it's ruined now.
no i hate [FRANCHISE] because [CHARACTER] showed up in a pandering movie

just another group of people trying to cash in on other people's work and move on when the money cant be made anymore. so they move on to fortnite, the next big thing, why? because it has such a casual following at the moment. are there great players? yes. people bitch and moan about not having a story in destiny, repeating the same thing over and over. and what do they do. go to a game that has no lore and repeat the same thing over and over. you can only land on that same island so many times before it gets old. is fortnite fun? sure. does it have anything that brings hard core gamers back. well after death you lose everything. so next time to drop in you have to go collect that gear again and again. Building is ok never been into minecraft so i dont get why building is so much fun. to me its cheesy, being able to use a building mechanic as a measure of skill. when we are playing a shooter.

The people who have left Planet Destiny to make their own podcast, are slowly but surely moving away from focusing solely on Destiny, I think they released a podcast seperate from their main DCP. The last I know of it, they're in the middle of trying to figure out a name for it, but whatever it is they made an effort NOT to mention Destiny 2. LOL.
It 's sad to see this happening to what would have been a game with the greatest potential, but that's what happens when you make a AAA freemium game. It could have been so easy to have a free version of the game along side of the main Destiny 2 game if they really needed to include all they did to Destiny 2.
I enjoyed listening to the few podcasts I did listen to of theirs, but I'm still following "Destiny Reset", "DCP", and "Fireteam Chat". Even when I wasn't playing Destiny 2 (mid-December) I still enjoyed their podcasts enough to keep tuning in every week and listening to what they had to say about this game. I strongly suggest supporting these guys as they all do great work... and their shows are high quality on the content side and production. The relationships of these gamers are the biggest draw for me personally, their chemistry is entertaining and worth taking part in... especially DCP. (:

this is sad indeed. I would never have found that last Siva fragment without them or those ghosts etc. etc. My KD would still be 1.0 without their meta busters.
When they closed their gates it was another nail in the coffin for Bungie. If there had been any hope that the updates would revitalise the game then PD would stick around for them. Instead they have closed up shop resigned to the fact that nothing is bringing this sorry lump back from the mess that LS and MN made of it.
Unlike the Division, where the devs have had a long standing weekly state of the game stream going and have stood in front of the rocks thrown by an initially angry community, Bungie have simply hidden in the back of a dark room occasionally coming out to try to sell us more DLC crap. What's worse is that they will almost certainly be out in force with their hype train trying to sell us D3 by this time next year!
