You mean there's a lot of side stuff to go exploring for in-between encounters?
Yeah, it's optional. Spoiler Basically, there's this large central room you can use to access all the rooms you need to go too, however there's some levers you can use to access a deeper area at the start of the raid. However, you can get keys from the rooms you need to go too and all the chests are found in the deeper area.
It's seriously like another patrol area.

I think the problem with Goku, at least in Z, was that his development kinda concluded in Dragon Ball. He's taken out of the fight so often in Z only to show up last minute to save everyone, so he never really had the chance to react to everything as the other characters did. It certainly doesn't change my enjoyment of him though.

There might be unique dialogue too. Definitely remember in the first mission Shaxx refers to the player as Saladin's young wolf or something along those lines (Rise of Iron)
Yeah, and there's references to things like killing Skolas, Orxy, working with Variks, etc
