I really really need a 3DS. X/Y, the remasters, and Fire Emblem are games that could easily occupy my time and have my interest.
I love pokemon music. I think it's severely underrated. How they use the iconic themes and mix them up and blend them expertly is always what I love. The main menu theme for R/B, turned it in to Lance's champion theme, and into Team Plama's theme, along with the trainer one.
Yeah, Pokémon has some of my favorite music for sure.
I even love all the anime renditions and shit. Like, they did an amazing job with that.

Sinnoh had the best atmosphere tbh.
I love the mythology in it, the Library, Celestic Town, Eterna City, Snowpoint temple, etc. are really cool.

Part of why I put 4 above 2 is because of HG/SS, but I love Platinum too

Admittedly, Gen 3 is probably at my top due to nostalgia, but I love most things about Emerald aside from lack of postgame content, some of the pokemon (Castform and Shedinja for example) and Dive feeling like a pointless addition. No physical/special split is also lame.
Gen 1 is my lowest as it really hadn't aged well, but FR/LG are really damn good which also factors into me putting Gen 3 at the top.

Not necessarily a genre - but I try to avoid games that people hype up that I haven't played. Zelda Majora's Mask, Fallout 4 and plenty of other games just felt underwhelming to me.

I think I'd be more inclined to care about this game if it acted like that thing in ORAS where you can find Pokemon with moves they don't usually learn, then add Pokemon Bank functionality so I can get them in my main series games.

The classic weapon view works surprisingly well, I thought I'd turn it on, play with it for 5 minutes and then ignore it, but I've kept it on for the entirety of my third playthrough so far
