Seeing as how the plural of foot is feet, the plural of boot should be beet as well.
This makes leet the plural of loot.
"leet" isn't a fucking word you stupid piece of fucking shit

Smart people seem to be more affected by bait posts than dumber people. Anyone else notice this? The only exception to this is when the person is so used to seeing bait that they automatically assume it to be bullshit before giving it a chance to evoke a reaction out of them. But other than that, it seems to be that smart people are easier to troll than dumber people.

This is why I think we should implement an IQ Test before granting access to the Serious Board.
Why are you always so mad?

If you interpreted my post as angry, then you are just proving my point.

So what time period is this? Are we taking into account ONI's attempted espionage of the Shadow of Intent or Bue Team fighting Didact at I03?

What about the research bases around I05 and I07?
The year is 2557 I believe. It takes place before the events of Requiem; the Didact is not awoken yet.

News / Re: Polling on Moderation Style for Sep7agon.Net

Hybrid, and I agree with heavy emphasis on the 2 rules listed below. Personal Attacks and Graphic Content. People shouldn't have to worry about their personal beliefs or lives being attacked. And they shouldn't have to deal with harassment either.

Quote
Respect fellow members, or at least tolerate them publicly. Harassment and personal attacks are not tolerated in any manner on Sep7agon.net, and will be dealt with appropriately. This does not only include attacks regarding one's religious beliefs, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, mental capacity, but also extends to continued and unwanted bothersome behavior. The site staff will look at each case individually and determine the best course of action.

Look at this guys, Rocket claims to be against harassment, but has been harassing me in multiple threads today. Just making sure you all know who we hired as monitor :)

I choose the Swords of Sangheilios, or the group led by Vata 'Gajat or the NCA.

Actually, which insurrectionist group has been Taken?
Uhhh, kinda breaking the majority of the canon with this one.

We sort of just lumped all the non-Thel Covenant factions under one umbrella and resurrected the Heretics from Halo 2.

...

Don't get too mad at us

So you're in favor of stricter moderation on insults and harassment Rocket? Hmm, that's interesting. I'll have to PM Cheat about your behavior.

I really don't see why this would be a problem and I've yet to see the staff give any good reason why it shouldn't be a thing
The only problem I see with it would be giving the OP the power to essentially stop the conversation prematurely.
I don't see why the OP shouldn't be allowed to do that.

Now with Monitors having this ability, there truly is no reason for implementing such a function
Uh yes, I actually saw your opinion the first time.

I'm pretty sure that's not even possible, and that wouldn't even make any sense. They call it the Master Chief collection for a reason, it isn't meant to be every fucking Halo game together.

Due to the lack of stability in the galaxy, the Covenant remnant makes an order to recall all Covenant units outside a 5,000 lightyear radius from the planet Karava. As this creates a strain on already damaged supply lines, the Covenant remnant will increase its mineral gathering efforts within its boundaries to make up for the lost supplies. The units that have been recalled will go towards mining and defense efforts around Karava.

Instability within the Covenant remnant increases as the Brutes demand equal nobility to the Elites. A compromise is being considered.

You can pick up to four people if you think they're all government agents. Personally I'm mostly inclined to think that Kiyo is the real agent here. Who do you think is a government agent prowling the forums?

The Covenant remnant will begin setting up its temporary capitol at the planet Karava (progress update by page 4)

In the meantime, the Covenant will also continue recruiting efforts to increase numbers (progress update by page 5)

Depends if the players want to be allied.
Got it, just gonna lay out some specifics about my faction to start this off (mostly stuff I'm going to make up, but some I'll steal from the wiki)

Covenant Remnant: (assume the attack on Lord Hood and everything that happened in Halo Nightfall didn't happen seeing as we're starting out at year 2557)

Starting planet: Karava (a backwater planet occupied by Covenant client species and non-UNSC humans)

Numbers: Though most of the Covenant remnant is scattered throughout the galaxy in various outposts and mining centers, its numbers (military and non-military) remain in the single millions

Leader: Jul Mdama

Before this gets too far, what exactly is the difference between Covenant separatists, the Covenant remnants, and the Heretics?

Does Thel Vadam count as a Heretic or a Separatist? Is Jul M'dama a separatist or part of the remnant?

According to this (http://www.halopedia.org/Covenant_remnant#Presently_known_groups) there's about five different Covenant factions. Is this what we're using or no?

If I'm the remnant am I playing as the brutes, the elites, or a mixture of both?
Thel is leader of the Separatists, they are not neutral between heretics and remnants. Remnants have a mixture of loyal Elites and Brutes to the original Covenant but led by Mdama.

But Mdama is the leader of The Storm which is a separate faction entirely.
Not in this game.

If this takes place post civil war though shouldn't the heretics be dead? They all kind of died when thell cut the cable and dropped their base into the gas giant.

:/ it just makes more sense to me to replace the heretics with the storm is all.
Like I said before, its based on the post-war era but I'm using pre-war elements for the purpose of this game.

And because the Flood is too dank.
Whoever has the heretics can come up with a backstory as to how they survived and where they came from.

For example maybe the Sanghelli have insurrections too and Thel has labeled them Heretics for not standing by with him during the Great Schism.

What exactly are the Heretics then? Are they not allied with Thel's separatist faction?
