What do you do? I work part time in a meat department.
Uhh pretty much this, interning at a local university over the summer and I just do whatever they can give me. Usually it amounts to copying papers, organizing invoices or helping run tests on pollen and seeds. But a lot of it is nothing
I know doing nothing for money sounds good, but that would kill me. I like having things to keep me occupied.
I get that, it's really dull most of the time. I'd honestly prefer to be working to earn this money instead of sitting on my ass for it

Man I didn't know it's still Standard time in the East. I wish the rest would get rid of Daylight savings time.
Ah right, EDT then

Serious / Re: So if Transracialism is a thing, and acceptable
« on: June 19, 2015, 09:57:32 AM »
How do you justify that? Transgendrism is a thing and gender bias/inequality isn't remotely OK
Too bad none of those things actually exist.
Right, keep telling yourself that, as long as it helps you sleep at night.

The best solution to end financial debt of a nation. Get rid of currency altogether and come up with a better way.
Currency is the better way.
Not when machines will continue to suck up jobs. There will be a day when machines build and program themselves.. what do people do then? What do we do to earn a living when machines do just about everything or more than a human can?
Well at that point, production of goods will be near costless, so it doesn't matter.
Will it though? What about resource costs, especially diminishing ones. Plus who's to say robots don't develop sentience and take to the idea of currency at that point.

The Flood / So whats up with this hate?
« on: June 18, 2015, 04:13:35 PM »
So lets see why we hate things then. Post something here that you hate and then justify your reasons for it.
I'm trying to understand how much of what some of you guys spew is rational or not, it certainly feels like most of it isn't.
So to start it off I'll go.
I hate intolerance, I hate people who are so closed off from things that they don't even think about it anymore. The kind of people who don't even know why they might hate something anymore. There's nothing good in that. Not only do you harm others by completely disregarding or shutting things out but you're seriously harming and hampering your ability to think critically and reason through things. Its a little ironic, I know  but it has to be said.

Pretty sure fetishes are preferences, you don't exactly chose which ones you like
And trust me, some personalities really turn me on

The Flood / Re: There's so many fucking religious people on okcupid
« on: June 18, 2015, 03:53:23 PM »
People who are this ignorant and intolerant of other people's beliefs are just as bad as them
Not even true. It's called being fed up. I was just thinking a moment ago before I came in this thread to read your reply about how it's hard for me sometimes, to think of a world where things are actually enjoyable. Religious people play a part in that.
I think you're confusing religious people for religious nuts and extremists. The real problem comes from religious intolerance, not religion itself. And surprise surprise, agnostics and atheists can be just as intolerant as any religion.

The Flood / Re: RIP Hamilton
« on: June 18, 2015, 03:35:57 PM »
Wait, they're getting rid of Hamilton instead of Andrew Jackson? Why?
I'm going off of memory for this so it might not be accurate
Bills are phased out at different times, I think the $20 was redesigned the most recently, like 1927. So they're going for a bill they haven't 'recently' changed this time.

The Flood / Re: Would you date a disabled person?
« on: June 18, 2015, 03:33:14 PM »
Yeah, no real reason not to. Judging someone on something like that is a shitty thing to do, what really matters is how they are as a person and how they handle the situation.
Of course that's if I was single. As of right now? Nah, I'm good with what I got

Lolprah.

Spoiler
I really hope that doesn't happen.
Oprah can't be on the bill, she isn't dead yet
and Hamilton isn't going anywhere, they're adding a female to the bill but not removing Hamilton. It isn't clear yet if they'll share a bill or if there will be two $10 bills in circulation.

The Flood / Re: Peanut butter is way better than chocolate
« on: June 14, 2015, 11:56:08 AM »
the combination of peanut butter and chocolate is in itself better than them being separate

/thread
They do taste pretty good together, but if I had to choose one over the other, I would definitely choose peanut butter. I don't even like chocolate icecream, chocolate cake, chocolate anything. I mean I will eat chocolate because sometimes it's nice. Peanut butter just tastes good for everything though. Peanut butter cookies, peanut butter frosting, peanut butter plain, peanut butter anything just tastes fucking amazing. It's a travesty that peanut butter doesn't get the respect it deserves.
putting peanut butter on your schlong and having the dug lick it off is pretty good, I hear
I imagine that's a good way to get your cock bit

The Flood / Re: What if you were forced to have an avatar?
« on: June 14, 2015, 11:54:09 AM »
I don't get it
How about I jog your memory? "You can't wear that, it's too revealing!". It doesn't matter if you're .5 years old and half naked, you have to conceal.

Now imagine if someone chose avtarsfor you, while saying "don't have that avatar on; you're a disgrace"
>implying society doesn't also dictate what is acceptable for men to wear
then explain why nobody bats an eye at this
The same reason they don't at this, its obviously comedic in nature
m8 fix the pic
Fixed it, had to reupload it somewhere else

So what made you pick KFC colours?

Well originally, I saw the screenshot of Big Boss wearing the chicken hat and I decided to try and do it in the style of a KFC ad

then one thing led to another
Haha, fair enough then

I hope I didn't just give pedophiles a covert way of looking up CP...
Google is surprisingly bad at filtering shit in foreign languages... I know this because my Russian class had a very unfortunate incident when looking up девочка, which has thankfully been fixed since. So don't fucking try it.
