I don't even know what pleasure posting gives me, maybe it's there to guide my thoughts that don't get expressed, like an outlet, or maybe it's because it occupies my otherwise stagnant mind with a task. I despise memes, but I like writing, and thus I won't write to be honest and xd with the intentions of just typing whatever for the sake of writing. It's actually quite simple logic behind it.
Think about how many frames the human eyes catches, and how many of those frames get recorded. I'm sure you can visualize your own home's all rooms, because your brain has deemed it useful enough.
With speedreading, you're not thinking about the words as words, but rather as an image of some kind. You scan the letters, and because you've seen all of the letters before, you can easily understand it.
I'm able to count in my head without saying the numbers. This has given me the ability to think while counting, so it's quite useful.
