Nah fam, breed with other of your kind until you have mutant babies because of the lack of diversity.

Someday your race will fuck its own copies.

Well this isnt real, so what ahould we feel?

Only 3% of the CO2 in the air is causes by humans and hell a 1.5% of that  3% is caused by us here in Australia.

So no, Im not worried.

>nigga thinks global warming isn't real
But it's not.

trolling or nah?
It's a cycle you have no control over. sorry

Except we do dumb fuck
No sufficient evidence exists to prove otherwise.

>Sees real global warming deniers ITT

LOL
I don't deny global warming, but I do think it is ridiculously overblown.
If the CO2 becomes a problem we'll just push it somewhere else. Or y'know, find some chemical process that breaks it down to C atoms and O2.
Yeah, and when the sun heats up the Earth too much in some thousand years, we'll just push the planet out a bit. When entropy occurs, we'll just travel back in time, or create energy.

7834
Never underestimate the power of science. If we don't find a way to fix the environment, we'll just adapt by becoming cyborgs. The technology really isn't that far off.
You're overestimating it. You're seeing science as a thing that'll solve any problem, which it can, but who's gonna be the one to execute it? Every solution that can be already has the ability to become that. There isn't any new form that it can't already be that it can be.

You're not putting your faith in scientists, you're stepping back and saying "I'm sure the art of knowing will solve it"

Great guess I have to go to youtube now.
The video is only 4 minutes long, yet there's no reply from you.

Did the video not invoke any kind of emotional response from you, or was the severity of the shock so great that you've been paralyzed?

Here's an interesting thought for you then. Take a look at me. I'm never going to be a somebody who builds a technical marvel. I'm not gonna be some genius inventor. Or behind some massive movement or great technology.

Now, look at it this way. Have you ever met somebody, who was really, really god damn smart in their field? Enough that you would consider a genius? I've met a few people. And there's a catch to almost all of them. Did you catch the keywords I used?

"in their field."

You can be a genius, but it comes with a price, it seems. One area of expertise climbs higher than all the others, but all the others are often left behind. To the point that they might even be lower than the average of an arguably simple person.

So, while they have a field of expertise and a base of knowledge in an area in which they will forever be higher than me, be capable of excelling in farther than I ever will, and learning faster in than I ever will, I have benefit of being multi capable.

I'm not a genius. But I can make my own progress based on the work of geniuses before me. I might not reach their height of expertise in one field, but at the same time, I'm not just versed in one field. I'm half versed in multiple fields. I've got bits and pieces of knowledge from all over that allow me not to just to climb one ladder, but multiple ones, at an albiet slower rate than the single ladder a genius or exceptionally smart person would climb.

Which has it's own advantages.

Now take that concept and apply it to yourself. Because it certainly could be applied. Probably to a lot of people here.
I don't buy that. I've met one of the smartest people in my country, but he was more handsome, and generally smarter than me. He had spent his time wisely by reading philosophy, and he was very good at math. He wasn't all serious, and enjoyed normal things as well.

Having a symmetrical face, red lips, the right skin tone all matters, because they're a sign of good health
faces really aren't that symmetrical though
some people naturally don't have red lips
skin tone doesn't even matter really
Just don't type anything at all if you don't wanna spend effort.
calm your tits
umad bro?
stop

Elohel.

Seriously though, a perfectly symmetrical face would be creepy af.
Human teeth are creepy as fuck, but we consider them normal because we're exposed to them. Spiders are creepy as fuck, because our peers/parents react to them when we're small. It doesn't matter if something is creepy as fuck, 'cause the feeling of creepiness is there to help us avoid danger. A perfectly symmetrical face isn't normal, and abnormalities are scary because they are unkowns, and we fear the unkown.

just think of it this way

smart humans wouldn't exist if stupid humans didn't exist, either
That's the most stupid thing one can say.

"Can't be beautiful people without ugly people"
Yeah, well, I'd take everyone being a supermodel over some being supermodels, whereas the rest of the population are decent or ugly-looking. Having a symmetrical face, red lips, the right skin tone all matters, because they're a sign of good health. I want to have these signs, and if everyone else had them, we'd all be playing fair.

If I want to think I'll just have to think. Honing you brain for tasks is the best thing to do, whether you're a genius, or an idiot.

I hate my design. It's not fair that some people have better brains. Even if I dedicated myself to a subject for a certain amount of time, a genius would be able to reach my progress in a week or less.

Doesn't this just make you feel very anxious?

Serious / Re: Another thread about suicide
« on: December 13, 2015, 03:42:30 PM »
Save your condescension and sob story. I don't care. I've suffered a lot and I'm not here crying or trying to kill myself.

If you're mentally fucked up, whatever. But don't tell me I don't know what it's like. I'm not here saying "lol it's easy just man up lmao". I'm saying man up, because giving into it doesn't make anything better.

Oh really? Tell me. What do you get for pushing it out and living your life? Pushing through all the hassle and garbage that will inevitably come your way. You might get lucky. You might be happy. But then, oops, bad roll, happiness taken away, like some toy from a child.

And at the end of it all, no matter what you did, no matter who you are, how good or bad, you die. You'll either die alone, or leave somebody behind. And if you choose to just take the shortcut and skip the bullshit? You leave behind hurting upset people.

But get this, if you committed suicide tomorrow, your family would have to deal with it. It might destroy them. It might not. Or you might go out to work tomorrow with a smile on your face and get hit by a drunk driver. In which case your family would have to deal with the same fucking thing. The only difference being whether or not you chose to die, or were hit with a bad roll.

So you say giving in doesn't make it any better.

Well guess what. You don't have a choice. Being the big man on the block and "manning up" doesn't reward you with anything except delaying what's inevitable. Even if you get a lucky roll and manage to avoid lots of bullshit in your life, you're going to have to face up to the inevitability that one day, whatever makes you happy is going to be forcefully taken from you when you die.

So at that point, really, why bother with it all, if it's so keen to just laugh and spit in your face no matter how hard you try?

Exactly what a depressed person would say

No, that's exactly what a logical person would say, depressed or not.

and why is alcohol allowed, when most other intoxicating drugs aren't?

I believe that the answer to both these questions is that the government doesn't have tyrannical control over the people, and thus they have to appeal to people.
