The only connection to make between a human and this flower is that when both die, they leave a skull. All humans leave their skulls, so that's why I replied with what I did. Edit: When you said for me to kill myself, I didn't take it seriously because you were the one who wrote it. If someone emotional who values lives and destinies a lot more would've written that to me, I'd have taken it to heart.

I don't think (I hope) anyone denies that global warming is a thing. Massive things like this are natural in our planet and we're overdue for many a thing, this included.
I think the people (like him) who say it's overblown, are saying humans effects on it are overblown. That's the thing people argue over, not that it's a thing. Now me personally, I listen to the evidence provided and it's no secret us polluting the atmosphere isn't good. Just look at Beijing. If you deny humans can have profound effects on the atmosphere and the delicate environment, then I personally think you are a fool.
The best part is the people outright denying evidence such as this (at least on the internet. Not with politicians), are the same ones who laugh at people for believing god. If that's not irony, I don't know what is.
When I'm saying it's overblown, I'm saying it's overhyped. People act as if humanity wouldn't be able to adapt to a shitty situation. If we have to live on a water world, we'll just find a way to genetically modify ourselves to breathe underwater. Or we'll just build IRL Rapture. Point being, climate change isn't going to extinct humanity. Will it shake things up? Absolutely. Will humanity adapt? Yes.
Everyone's aware that we'll adapt. The problem is that half of us will die, the conditions will be really fucking shitty, and no, if the situation happens, stuff like genetical engineering won't be a possibility. It's a big fucking problem.

This is actually my first Christmas in like 3 years. I've put a lot of thought into gifts this year for at least 5 friends, sister, brother, mother, and father. Sorry, I'm not a piece of shit that doesn't like to put in any effort.
I also put a lot of thought into giving my family gifts. I had an intense thought period that lasted for an hour, and I came to the conclusion that I had found the perfect gifts. My brother like videogames and everything related, but those are bad for him, so I bought him a gym membership. If the membership period is running out I'm sure he'll be motivated to work out.
As for my parents, I always hate how they use internet explorer on their old computer from 2001 to check out Youtube videos or their Facebook, so I bought them a modern Linux computer with an HD screen. Sorry I'm not a moron that doesn't care about his family. Psshht, you underestimate me.

If a mass migration happened that brought all the people to one country, then shit would probably be fucked, and thus the genetical importance of diversity would not take any sort of priority.

No, not really. 1) I don't think we'll live that long 2) If we reach that point, I'm sure science will solve anything, just like it'll solve literally every problem ever all praise science. But seriously, we're beginning to get a hint of what genes are, and now we just have to identify everything, and learn how to manipulate the DNA to get what we want 3) I believe that mutations will happen if that point in time comes, because our cells incorrectly copy the DNA sequence every day. Don't take my word for this though, this is just my educationally limited guess
