I don't mean that Aikido has no use, but in a fight it has very little use. If a drunk man grabs your hand, then sure, Aikido has a purpose, but if a guy is in a fighting stance and throws attacks, then aikido is gonna be inefficient.
That's actually what aikido is for. To use a person's strength and momentum against them.
Krav maga is obviously superior, but they're both great.
Yeah, but every fighter is able to throw both fast punches, and strong punches. Both attacks damage the opponent, and the goal isn't always to rush into the opponent, but to come within range of making these attacks. Krav maga may be good in real situations where you don't have much time to adapt to the situation, but in a sparring match it will end up badly for the Krav Magaer. Also, most krav maga that is being taught is mall dojo-tier. The real Krav maga in the syrian (?) army is more of the real deal, but that's because it's more ruthless there.

Aside from the fucked up replies that make me cringe, no, OT I can't imagine the US military looking like that. Sure, some special ops unit maybe, but that's a battle suit, not a war suit. You don't wear that and uphold peace for a week and then move on to the next area.  supplies + camo + protection These take priority, but they're already quite jam packed. When you look at the above, you don't exactly think versatile fighter. Now, for the actual armour, it's impractical. The chest piece but bigger wouldn't work effectively in any situation. The arm pieces will slow you down since they weigh so much, and you'd get tired and fuck up your joints, unless they're plastic and just for show. The helmet sucks for primal reasons, but equipped with future tech it could be an asset. Just doesn't have to be one that looks like that. TL;DR Mandalorian armour is fucking stupid for soldiers that aren't equipped with easy transport such as jet packs. Soldiers don't fight as much as they do other shit like living and scouting areas.
