The Flood / Re: Hate vs Apathy

I'm going to live on by having children. I don't mean that metaphorically, I mean my consciousness will transfer to my child as soon as I die and then I'll have another child and the Cycle of DIO will continue from now until eternity.
A) That's not something Dio can do
B) Dio is a vampire, meaning he's already immortal

DIO does what DIO wants.

It's kinda sad that I can only call you, the user, Dio, because I have no idea who you are. I think you used to go by the name Lord Keksworth? I don't know, you're just sort of hollow.

Good, that's intentional.
Then start impersonating Kira, not Dio. You're doing the opposite of what Dio would do.

Using family members as pawns for immortality is exactly something I would do, actually. That's my modus operandi.
Nice child-like behavior you're displaying.

How so?

Make me.
You're too self-absorbed--just like a child.

Stop talking nonsense. I'm highlighting the fact that you aren't omniscient, and thus you're running on assumptions.

So I'm assuming by pointing out how personal and biased that thought is.  So what's the alternative?  To accept that that kind of thought is impersonal and objective, taking all perspectives into account?  One's a bit more presumptuous than the other.
Holy shit, will you throw a tantrum if you're not right or something?

You're assuming when you say what's right/wrong, and when you share your theories on how people work.

Do you really think the alternative is to take all perspectives into account and then voice a single one? How about don't voice your teachings? How about you stop making a fool out of yourself by thinking your path and teachings align with mine?

When someone is about to wager everything on a feat that has the probability of working out 1/99, you don't get to tell them that's a stupid bet. I understand that you've lived your entire life this way, but you only give advice to those who aren't capable, and so when you give advice to someone else, you're saying "you're not capable". You appear a huge jerk, and if they pull it off, you appear an idiot before everyone who knows about what happened.

Now if you want me to apply this logic to the situation, then think of how you're treating me when you tell me that the way I act is wrong. You're saying I can't handle being rational because I'm stubborn, and arrogant, but that's not true at all. You're also saying my judgements and actions are wrong.

You know, I've learnt a great deal about you from this exchange. I've received an insight to your environment's effect on you.

Again, you use uncertain words like "prone". Why don't you leave me alone with your wisdoms and presumptions about the world?

I would hardly consider the sentiment that "no one is perfect and omniscient" as a personal or a presumptuous one.

If someone actually thinks otherwise, and approaches all of their thoughts and actions with zero doubt, then they're exactly what I described before: sheltered, close-minded, defensive, delusional, and arrogant.

I find it super hard to hate anything or anyone. Most people aren't worth the effort.
What about other feelings? Can you feel compassion, empathy, sympathy, and passion?

Yes it does--once again, you're just too fucking stupid.

Why would I not want to share my infinite knowledge with everyone else? I'm not a selfish cunt.
Is that supposed to be a rhetorical question? Because I can very easily answer it.
If you're someone like me and you'd want to be forgotten, you're a fucking idiot. But we already knew that.
Why are you changing the subject?

Do you want to return to your safety bubble or something?

I prefer to be despised/hated than to be ignored and forgotten.
So you're that desperate for acknowledgement of your existence?

Verbatim and Dio likes the reply, so that means they're also desperate for others' attention. You heard it here first, folks.
Not desperate, but I don't want to become like Ozymandias. It's something innate in humans generally to want to be immortal, be it literally, genetically or ideologically. Verbatim would say that at least one of these is evil and the other two inconsequential. Also because apathy is a disease.
Genetically and literally are both the same thing. Ideological immortality is for those who are unsure of themselves.

To be able to do anything that you want -- to be powerful, is a good goal to have.

Given that I'm the only one in the universe who knows anything, of course I'm desperate for attention.
That doesn't justify anything.

that thought is often not spent on where you might be wrong.
How childish. You don't get to be the arbiter of my choices and thoughts.

How defensive.  My point is that it leaves people prone to being self-destructive, not that I personally have the authority to judge your reactions and tell you when that happens.
Again, you use uncertain words like "prone". Why don't you leave me alone with your wisdoms and presumptions about the world?

I suppose so. I have never seen you around unless you join the server and leave a few second later. Why do you do that?

Ted Bundy.
That dude was fucking superhuman. He pulled off shit that should have been impossible.

I remember reading about the time he broke into a sorority house and was basically invisible. I was seriously questioning whether I believed what I was reading at that point.
You must've misread the story, or you're remembering false things.

He got into the sorority building through a door with a faulty lock in the middle of the night (2:45 AM).

Feeling content>Hate>Apathy

Hate is a good thing, it focuses the mind and motivates you to find flaws in the other person as to attack them. Hate grows even bigger when the idiots don't realize they're being stupid, but even though it might be frustrating, it's a lot better than being apathetic. Being apathetic has no benefits. It's like being dead.

3505
Just drink when you're thirsty. It's unhealthy to consume too much water.
No, let him drink himself to death. An idiot like him doesn't deserve to live.

3506
Your overhydration is probably causing you to become confused.

3507
Hey, other gay swede, who are you gonna listen to? A fat basement dweller with a bowlcut and an obsession with language or the guy who has a six pack?
Even though I disagree with Verbatim on more than one world view, at he's credible. I can't really say the same for you.
Are you drunk right now, or just stupid?

I'm really scared of wasps
Me too.

I was smoking a joint with a bunch of my flatmates outside the one time, and this wasp starts harassing me.

I fuckin booked it back inside. Still haven't lived that one down.
Sucks when they bug you

3509
tbh if you only drink when you're thirsty you're kinda behind the game there. Hydration should occur periodically throughout the day, not en masse when you body starts to tell you that you're in need of water.
I don't know, man, whenever I eat I get thirsty. I'm not sure if it's actual thirst or a need to cleanse my palate, but I always drink water after eating.

If you wanna go vegetarian just do it. It's not like you're going vegan, or working out. Even if you were working out you could get your protein from diary products eez.

You do NOT get to complain that being a vegetarian is hard.
the dairy thing is gonna be a hard one to counter as i plan on working out next semester. i wanna cut back on it and dont want to drink it as much as i did this year (half a liter every night). my only concern is my health from no meats or if i come back to a meat eating diet ill get sick
Drink i- milk? Dude, I'm talking cottage cheese and whey powder.
