I don't think you should care about what other people do
What they do is their own business, but if they do something that affects me, I don't mind being intrusive

You (Ian) will never make a decent thread

"But if you're one of the ones who's unhappy going to the gym or eating healthy, and are only doing so because of a societal pressure too look a certain way, this does apply to you."
Who the fuck does this though? Charlie, is this you? Did you make a New Year's resolution and then give up on it because you couldn't go through with it?
the fuck?
Don't lie, you made this thread because you gave up on exercising and eating food that you consider to be healthy. This thread is your excuse for eating cake.

Living without happiness isn't truly healthy living.
Without happiness? Why take it to such extremes? Nobody's depressed here.
I guess somebody needs to define expense for you.
One would have to guess a lot having to use your brain
Damn, my sarcastic use of the word guess sure does detract from your very serious failure to understand that doing something at the expense of something else means you can't have both.
Eating healthy at the expense of momentary happiness doesn't mean you're suddenly unable to feel happiness. Are you a software with bad programming, or are you just dense?
The question in no way indicates that you will still be happy, it clearly pits being healthy for life vs feeling happy for life, in the way Charlie first posed it.
Your misinterpretation is based on your own cognitive faults.
I guess somebody needs to define expense for you.
Is buying a chair at the expense of money worth it? I think so, but I don't think that you should spend all your money on a chair. Still, the question doesn't mean that all your money will be spent on it, so I'm just nitpicking.
You act like happiness is a currency, but the original thread
"The original thread is this and that, and look at how it is. You're doing it wrong because you're not following the original thread."
"Oh I didn't make a thread replying to Charlie's question that's just a coincidence mmkay"
DenseCan you stop questioning everything like a child and formulate answers on your own? Having to babysit you and answer all your questions is getting annoying. I didn't reply to Charlie's question, I took it and answered a different one. Sure the words are the same, but the questions are inherently different. Even a fool would understand that, because they're not so sure of themselves that they won't stop to question their interpretation for a moment.

My job is the bane of my existence
Tell me about your job
Why is it so bad?
Nobody cared who I was until I got a job
now people want me to cover up for them
Who pays you to go and spend your time working?
A lotta loyalty for a hired wageslave!
Yeah, I gotta EAT

I'm just curious. Happiness is an incredibly subjective view that can encompass a lot of of other emotions and feelings.
Does my answer matter to you?
So what do you want to know?

But they're not mutually exclusive? Can I not be satisfied while happy at the same time?
No, happiness is when a child gets something he desires, or when he's playing around without a care in the world.
You can be quite serene and emotionless while be content, and fulfilled. Does my answer matter to you?

The accomplishment from that is happiness though.
Normies tell you that no matter what you should be happy in life. Live, laugh, love. I say fuck that. Contentedness, fulfillment, and glory are good enough prizes to pay for with suffering. Living without happiness isn't truly healthy living.
Nobody's depressed here.
I'm not so sure about that.
To be healthy overall you have to have a healthy mentality. People don't realize how significantly the mind affects the body.
Sometimes you have to be unhealthy to get stronger, whether that be the body or the mindset. If you wanna live until you're 110, just do light exercise and eat a little.

Happiness should't be your goal, no, but sacrificing happiness so you can live longer is retarded. Sacrificing happiness so you can look "good" is even more retarded.
I agree, but your reply isn't supposed to be addressing the OP, is it? I had another goal in mind. I was thinking that you live healthy so that you can operate at your best.

Besides, what is healthy living? You think someone who's fat and eats lots of junk food is living healthy whereas someone who eats healthy foods and works out isn't? Are you stupid?

Yes, yes it is.
Happiness isn't the end-all-be-all, so it shouldn't be treated so highly. Putting down that slice of cold pizza and eating those disgusting dry oats can be worth it, even if it's disgusting. It's a momentary pleasure you're missing out on, and tbt if you eat dry oats everyday for no reason you're just not very smart. You can still eat healthy and enjoy your meal, but that's not really my point- my point being that there's more to happiness.
Normies tell you that no matter what you should be happy in life. Live, laugh, love. I say fuck that. Contentedness, fulfillment, and glory are good enough prizes to pay for with suffering.

I ate a small chocolate and I get called out for it. Yes, of course getting caught was part of my plan. It's just the next step in my master plan to bankrupt the store
