My friend I meant no disrespect. You have to understand that when I was born, my father had already had 7 children, he was but an old man. You may search for the ghost of your father, but what I had was nothing but the search when growing up. I looked at an empty landscape and imagined where the buildings would've been in their youth, so I had these questions bored into the back of my head when I was a toddler. Does the boy become the man, or has the man lost what makes him a boy, and the boy dies? Truly, we don't know because we can't be other people, so when we change we are no longer the other people we were and can no longer compare the two because in the moment we are a different person.

i met him at a bar one time. i walked over and said i really liked his music. he started doing this weird hand movement in my face and repeating what i said moking me. i was taken back so i just walked back to my friends. then about 15 minutes later i saw him arguing with the security guards because they wanted to cut him off. he got pissed and walked into the pool room and i saw him take the small little fire extuinguisher off the wall and put in his bag. then i went outside for a smoke and he came out about 30 seconds later holding a stack of empty beer glasses i think he was stealing? then he asked me for a cigarette. i said i had none left and he just patted me on the head and walked off into the darkness alone

I read that combat sports pros can't hold back in sparring, and I get it now. They only care about improving themselves and honing what they've learnt. That sounds ideal, but when another person comes into the equation it gets complicated.
