Favourite fiction genre?
Sci-fi novels - Favourite non-fiction topic? Psychology - What're you reading at the moment? Ludwig Wittgenstein Tractatus logico-philosophicus - What's on your bookshelf that you're yet to read? Ludwig Wittgenstein ... I got some books that I already read. - What's on your wishlist? I deleted my list because I wasn't planning on getting the books, but it was something like this: Upon the distinction between the ashes of various tobaccos The use of disguise in crime detection a monograph by Sherlock Holmes I think there were more books that I wanted to read, but I can't remember them. 10152

The Flood / Re: Human beings are such wastes of garbage.« on: June 23, 2015, 04:13:50 PM »Couldn't it be that people are abnormal because our standards are too generalizing? Sure, some people are in little ways normal, but it should be that most people are similar in many aspects. If no one is normal can they really be abnormal?relative to the social concept of "normalcy"? 10155
The Flood / Re: Human beings are such wastes of garbage.« on: June 23, 2015, 04:10:15 PM »
OT: I agree that humans are bad for this planet, and that we exclude the abnormal, but is that such a bad thing?
As a life form, we're advanced. We can get food easily, and we are great in number. As higher beings with greater intelligence we're terrible because of what we're doing to the planet. We are smart enough to have responsibility, but we're not doing as much as we could. That aspect is pathetic. 10156
The Flood / Re: Human beings are such wastes of garbage.« on: June 23, 2015, 04:06:25 PM »There's no such thing as a mistake when it comes to life. Life happened because of conditions, and after a while (when life came about) the life form that was best suited for the job survived. Some got more lucky than others, but in the end the results are what they are.Garbage does not exist in nature - humans are perverts. There isn't a correct thing, and thus no mistake. 10157
The Flood / Re: Human beings are such wastes of garbage.« on: June 23, 2015, 04:03:42 PM »Yeah, I also consider that the only normal appearance of a majority of people is in a crowd.gibberish So imagine a crowd. If everyone were to boo someone on television, and you're in this crowd and you're booing, wouldn't that be considered as a mutual agreement? Sure, some might just have fallen to peer pressure, but as is real life. We conform to what we think is normal. Now imagine that a single person boos a person that the audience likes. Wouldn't that person be considered not-normal? 10158
The Flood / Re: Human beings are such wastes of garbage.« on: June 23, 2015, 03:57:55 PM »This species alone is parasitic. Humans take all the resources the earth has to offer until there is nothing left. We take and take and take and never give.i agree with this bit Quote you're only considered normal in this world if you share the majority of problems that are commonWhat about this part? 10159
The Flood / Re: Human beings are such wastes of garbage.« on: June 23, 2015, 03:56:54 PM »i'm people, i like me, so i guess i like people.Say that there are three people in existence. You're one of them. The rest you hate. Are people good or bad? 10160

I agree with every point, but what do we owe the planet?
We should only help the planet because we need it. 10161
