no noticeable damage but a fuckload of rain.

Re-Logic is far and away the best developer i can think of in terms of releasing content. it's been four years after the Terraria release date and they're still producing great new content. the last two patches were amazing, and i'm hype as shit for this one. 800 new items whaaaaaaat

Didnt drink (literally) in school, but I did a bit of drink in my 16-18 years

Was fun, but I don't have time for it these days, and gotta save that money for a home.
why save for a home when you could live the dream and be a homeless alcoholic  8)

i tried mixing fireball with shitty dining hall coffee... worst choice i've ever made. it tasted like puke, with a cinnamon kick.
i do recommend fireball in hot cider or hot chocolate, though. goes pretty damn well.

The Flood / Re: Is a vaporizer worth getting?
« on: June 24, 2015, 05:14:35 PM »
just don't be a faggot and smoke real cigarettes
I'm talking about weed.

then why the fuck would use a vaporizer? just get some rizzlers and roll it up
I can't roll. I knew a guy who could though. But I'm trying to step my game up. I want to transcend.
i cheat when i roll, but nobody can really tell the difference.

go to a smoke shop and buy a 78mm cigarette roller (like $2), a pack of 78mm papers (like $1), and if you want some filters (i use regular cigarette filters, and i haven't noticed any reduction in my high with them). then, roll a joint like you would roll a cigarette. super easy and super quick.

i also cheat harder by putting a filter on both sides of the roller, packing the middle, and pulling one of the filters out after i roll it. then i can twist the empty end of the j to keep it tightly packed.

i still want to learn to roll properly though...

I'm in sixth form (I don't know what age 17 is in murica) but i have never drunk and never plan to. Alcohol is disgusting.

Only time I have ever had an alcoholic drink was when I went camping last summer and it took me a day to drink a can of beer because it was awful.
Alcohol IS disgusting! At first anyway
Then its tolerable
Anyway the effect is the fun bit, especially with friends and while playing games.
Just don't touch fireball that shit is nasty and will never become tolerable.
Also you'd be like a Junior or Senior in highschool here.

I don't see the appeal of drinking a disgusting drink to purposefully lose your sense of judgement, before making yourself ill the next morning.

I'll stick to water.
See you don't actually get sick all the time, just drink water or something while you throw back some beers and you'll wake up fine. Never had a hangover, not even the night I blacked out.

Either way, it still seems like a watse of time when I could be at home playing on my Xbox or writing or something.
Grab a couple of good friends, get some beer and go play a video game together. Lots of fun, guaranteed. Especially if said game is Gang Beasts
Or don't I mean it really doesn't matter, just stick to what makes you comfortable. No one should think less of you for doing either.

Well, the 11 drunk guys play slender videos were pretty fucking funny, now I think about it...
Honestly all alcohol does is loosen you up a little in these situations, makes it a bit easier to have fun with certain shit and laugh at your stupidity. Its not necessary for anything though.

The way I see it, if you need alcohol to have fun, you're an incredibly boring person anyway.
this is the key to alcohol and drug use: alcohol and drugs won't make a boring time fun, but they can make a fun time even better. a lot of people don't "need" alcohol or drugs to have fun, but they choose to use when they have fun regardless because drugs and alcohol can make it MORE fun.

it's fun to hang out with friends, bullshit around, and play vidya. it's even better to do so while drunk, though, because tensions are looser, senses of humor are greater, and you're in a better mood in general.

obviously the flipside is true too; if you drink while you're in a shitty mood, it's just going to make it worse.

in the end it's up to you whether or not you want to drink. you can have plenty of fun without alcohol, even with people who are drinking. but i recommend you try it a couple of times -- find your limit, figure out how much you can comfortably drink -- to see just how it enhances (or detracts from) your fun.

ps, always eat a good meal and drink plenty of water before, during, and after to avoid sickness!

a couple of friends have vapes, and they highly recommend them. from what i hear, they're more efficient and easier on the lungs, plus you can use already vaped bud for edibles!

i'm looking at getting a Pax 1 now that the price has dropped since the release of the Pax 2, but i'm still shopping around.
if you're looking for an affordable vape that is also really good quality, i'd recommend the Wulf sx since it's the one i use and have the most experience with. only $100 on most websites and functions just as well as the PAX 2.
will look into it, thanks!

i never really got the whole 'follow for a follow back' thing. if you're not a business or celebrity, why care about how many people who don't care about you are following you? and why follow people who you don't care about?

i follow businesses and personalities that i want to hear from and i follow some of my friends. i don't really care who follows me.

Good job, man, I'm happy for you.

You got any ideas where you're going to take it from there? A doctorate, maybe, or are you just going to jump into the labour market?
congrats, man! what are you looking to do after this?
Thanks. :)

Not gonna jump into the labor market just yet. Gonna attend a different university (the one in Brussels) next year to get a second Master's degree specialized in IT and IP (Intellectual Property) Law. Always been pretty interested in cybercrime, privacy, data protection, big data analysis and the likes, so this should be a good next step. Then, I'll hopefully land a job as a researcher in one of those fields and potentially aspire a doctorate if I'm eligible. Or actually go work at a law firm, take the bar exam and become a "proper" lawyer. No idea yet, lots of opportunity though.
nice, sounds like you've got a solid grasp on everything. good luck!
