Simple idea: if you offshore your HQ to dodge taxes, and offshore your manufacturing, you have to pay a high tariff to import your goods into the US. At that point you aren't an American company anymore. Bring in jobs or tax revenue.
Helpful hint: if you have a "simple idea" about economics it's probably wrong.

>corporation taxes are bad, and reduce the welfare of working individuals
>outsourcing really, really isn't an issue with the exception of short-run labour disruption
>there is consensus in economics on tariffs (including the two above, too, actually) and it's that they fucking suck. They just hurt the consumer

The consumer can only afford the goods if they have a job that pays a living wage. And the tariffs only come into play if they offshore the jobs and taxes.

Of the current candidates, his ideas are the least impractical. Everyone agrees America is broken. Our system pools resources in the hands of the very few, and those with the means have demonstrated that they do not have the general population's best interest at heart. Industrialists up until the early 80's counted themselves as Americans first. That isn't the case. Main St America has suffered because of this. Bernie may not have the ideal solutions, but at least he's going in the right direction.
lol

Nigga you need those "industrialists", their tax dollars actually fund shit.

And if they're not Americans first anymore, good luck keeping them around once the soaking starts.

They're not staying now. You seem to be living under the impression they aren't already shipping jobs overseas and dodging their taxes.
And you think the solution is to demand they stay while also making conditions less favorable than they already are?

Bending over for them hasn't really panned out. Simple idea: if you offshore your HQ to dodge taxes, and offshore your manufacturing, you have to pay a high tariff to import your goods into the US. At that point you aren't an American company anymore. Bring in jobs or tax revenue.

Dropping since it's relevant.http://hotair.com/archives/2013/01/27/some-advice-on-women-in-combat-from-a-female-veteran/

It's interesting. If she's real, I respect her service, even if I disagree with her opinion.

But that's all this is: one woman's opinion. My brother led a MP platoon in Afghanistan. His opinion after serving in combat with women is that they are ready. But that's his opinion.

Police are police, not babysitters. If the guy couldn't sit still then it's his own fault.

Umm... They intentionally bounced him around in the back. Sure, they didn't mean to kill him, but they definitely wanted to harm him
Well, I wasn't there, so I can't say whether they intentionally meant to our not.

It's a fairly common occurrence. Most times the people are only slightly injured. What happened in this case, he was basically hog tied and put on his belly. When they short-stopped, he slid headfirst into the front wall.
There's nothing worse than people who don't actually fucking read the OP. Gray sustained injuries to the extent that he did precisely because he tried to get up.
And this just absolves the blatant police brutality, right?

These cops should get life.
If he did stand up in the back of a van... well then it's just kinda his own fault.

He shouldn't have been able to

They threw him back there with the intention of rattling him around. Did they think he would die? Probably not. But they did intend to fuck him up. Cops do this shit all the time. Put you in the back unsecured and short stop to bounce you off the divide. It's happened to me.

Amen. These cops here are just bullies hiding behind a badge and a public that blindly protects them.

Assholes like this ruin the name and reputation of honest cops.

Women should not be in infantry positions.

I don't care what bullshit equality argument you throw at me. Safety comes before any kind of tenuous quota someone has to fulfill.
If a woman is qualified to hold an infantry position, why shouldn't she be allowed to do it?
Detriment to unit cohesion and operational efficiency.

The Secretary of the Army disagrees with you
McHugh also thought Raymond Chandler was full of great ideas so...

It doesn't matter if she meets the grade. Even women who pass the relevant tests (which are usually lowered)
That means the problems lie with the tests allowing unfit candidates in.
Even fit female candidates have shown a propensity to be incapable of meeting the physically demanding aspects of infantry like men can.

Even if they ticked every conceivable box there's still biological aptitudes that we simply cannot get away from, such as female bone density that renders women more likely to sustain injury.

According to Army Times, the two women who passed Ranger School weren't given any preferential treatment nor lowered standards. Sure, it wasn't on one attempt, but they passed with other recycled male recruits. Ranger School is one of the military's most physically demanding schools.

Those two women shattered your argument to dust.

So long as the standards are kept the same, and they aren't shown preferential treatment, then there is no reason at all for their segregation.

As for other militaries, Isreal would like a word with you about the combat effectiveness of women. No one questions the IDF's military effectiveness
Oh wow two isolated cases that still don't debunk the fact that women inevitably affect unit cohesion. MY ARGUMENT IS SHATTERED!1!1

Dude, IDF is not an apt example. Gender integration in close combat situations was disbanded in 1948 due to myriad problems units were facing in regards to organizational bonding. I think there's like one specialized task force Israel allows for women to enter, and even then it's still heavily skewed towards men.

Your argument is dry spaghetti. A copy pastad idea with no supporting sauce.
