Why climb Everest? Go to the Marinas Trench? Go to Mars?
we shouldn't do any of these things, either

fuck your pointless ambitions

With all due respect, fuck your lack of them.

I respect you. Truly. But humanity thrives by going beyond our limits.

Seriously, call the cops. Do it anonymously.

I wouldn't risk this.

Is Reno locked in?

Seattle may be better.
Who the fuck would recommend Seattle over Reno

Me.

Reno can be cool, but Seattle is better in my opinion.

Or Portland.
Reno has Lake Tahoe

Seattle has 10ft of visibility and rain

And Pike's. And the Sound. And a lively day and night scene.

It does accomplish something. Pushing the limits of our flesh shows what humans are capable.
that's not an accomplishment

why does it matter what we're physically capable of

Why climb Everest? Go to the Marinas Trench? Go to Mars?

Frontiers exist in every direction, even exploring how far we can push our fragile form.

Why scoff at sports?
because it accomplishes nothing

i scoff at everything that accomplishes nothing--even myself

It does accomplish something. Pushing the limits of our flesh shows what humans are capable.

Reno?

Sorry, no advice.

NYC, Boston, SF, LA and of course San Diego... Then I can give advice
I was originally heading to NYC but it was just in general too expensive to have a legit good trip.

I did go with my family a few years ago though and it is one of my favorite places on the planet. I cannot remember the restaurant but a little bit from time square there is this place that makes the most amazing steak in the world.

There are at least 5 places I think it could be.

Why scoff at sports?

There are few areas humans can test themselves against one another.

Sure, academia is another, as is business. But not everyone is cut out for that. Just like not everyone is cut out for sports.

We are flesh, mind and spirit. The only way we can test our limits is against something. Sometimes that something is another human.

I have been there and back. I'll be honest, there is a dark beauty to those thoughts. A seductive call of what comes next, or the release of oblivion. But, there is much to do. Much to say.

It's strange as an atheist to admit this, but I do believe we have a meaning. A reason. A purpose.

I truly believe we are players in a larger story. We have a role and we play it. When your time comes, there's nothing you can do about it. Therefore there's no reason to hurry it.

The best you can do is let go of your pain, regret and fear, and live your life to its fullest.

Play your part

All those tattoos are gross. And piercings.

We're attracted to different things. I prefer the wild side.

Prostate cancer.

We all gotta go sometime. You can cry about it, try to hide from it or run. But there's nothing you can do. This year we've seen a lot of icons leave us. At the very least, see the lesson.

Live this day as though it will be your last. Because it may very well be.

It isn't charity to clothe the poor with another man's money, it's just theft.
I don't disagree.

I mean like, he wants to hep people, but he's all wrong and unethical in how he wants to do it.
People can't be expected to be good or charitable, so you basically have to force them to be.

Greater good > Your individual rights. Sorry.

Truth

Rubio is quickly gaining ground in Trump's second place title - within 3 percentage points.

You're funny though, if you think Trump is done.

Of course not, but it would kill some of his momentum if he doesn't pull in the IC.

God is dead and we have killed him

True Korea's Glorious Leader, Kim Jong Un, slayed God in one on one combat

Pfft, not even that. Kim had both arms and legs tied behind his back and was blindfolded.

Beardy Weirdy didn't stand a chance.

Well our Glorious Leader had to fight handicapped to show his honor.  Everyone knows nothing can stand in the way of his will.

Why, every woman who read our exchange became pregnant with his children. He's that verile.
