I don't know tbb. I think if there was ever a breach of contract you can leave with no notice.

CA is a right to work state. You can quit or be fired for any reason

Give them a two weeks notice and if they try to screw you over, just quit.

I can't. I start Tuesday

The Flood / How should I quit my present job tomorrow?
« on: February 16, 2017, 12:08:58 AM »
I got a job that pays double. My current sales manager is a douche, but his boss is awesome. So I am torn.

FYI: I didn't put a proper 2 weeks in because I don't trust my current manager to have not cut me there and then. I needed the cash. I have a 2 and a 4 year old to proclvide for. No risks.

So, how do I tell them?

That's stupid.

I'm gonna say it, it is.

I took it when ex mrs charlie and I were trying for a kid. It's a blood pressure med, and that's why you have headaches.

It doesn't make you go longer, and it doesn't increase your performance. All it does is make it easier to get it up. That's all. Easy mode for your cock.

You want a longer experience? Try edging a few weeks before. I have been edging when I jack off for a few weeks now. Basically you learn orgasm control. You can bring it for longer and not nutting.

No drug (aside from numbing cream) can do that. And if you raw dog it you numb her too, so there's no point. Plus if you numb your dick, you don't enjoy it.

Sorry bro, you done fucked up. Hope you don't get a prispism. That can suck when the ER lets the air outta the balloon
I like it. Definitely increased my performance I'd say. My dick was a lot harder than normal and it was consistently that level. Instead of those ups and downs that happens. I also lasted waaaaay longer than usual. That may be due to kegels though. My fear is becoming reliant on it

Like I said, it's a blood pressure drug. The longer you take it, the more you need it.

I have given thought to the Mormon polygamy cults. Sure it's frowned on, but being married to multiple subservient women? Even if they're ugly... you still get options.
The women in this cult, are they treated like people or are they treated no different than cattle?

Like people. They all agree that the rotates houses.

Sorry to hear it. We have our share, unfortunately. Though it's good to hear it's a Witness based one and not one of those cut your balls off before you kill yourself to get to the mother ship cults.

The Flood / Re: Do you believe ego death is a real phenomenon?
« on: February 15, 2017, 12:51:55 AM »
I don't see how anyone could weigh the risks in such a way where they just ignore them. That is way too scary for me to even entertain the idea of trying.

I'm not sure if people do it intentionally, it's more a byproduct of taking too much psychedelics.
Yeah everytime I've witnessed it, it didn't seem like fun. Having no idea who you are and what's going on around you, just a constant state of confusion, gives me the chills just thinking about it.

I don't think that's ego death. Ego death is when you lose your sense of self in recognizing you are nothing more than a small piece in a bigger whole. I guess taken to an extreme, it's like a man realizing he's in a hive mind and surrendering to it.
I've definitely seen it happen on both a mixture of DXM and Acid, and on Ketamine. It was described by my friend that he felt like he was a small dot in a large empty space, he could literally feel himself shrinking in reality. I find dissociatives extremely interesting, in that it literally disconnects your brain from the rest of your body and it just kinda leaves you in a state of consciousness and unconsciousness at the same time. You're basically experiencing your brain functioning in dead space, creepy...But I remember watching two friends deep in a k hole and its just kinda like watching two completely limp people in a state of conscious limbo. They can't speak, they just kinda moan and lay there, crazy stuff!

Again, I'm not sure that's it. People come through it changed. Or at least they claim to be, hence this thread.

From what I have been told, they see the big picture, the REAL big picture and emerge with no sense of self. They can only exist afterwards with that picture and their role in it. The sense of self importance is gone. You would think that it's just another way to feel self important, by highlighting the self importance of others, but people who claim to be on the other side say they take no joy in it, and would go back if they could

Quote
Ego death is a "complete loss of subjective self-identity." The term is used in various intertwined contexts, with related meanings. In Jungian psychology the synonymous term psychic death is used, which refers to a fundamental transformation of the psyche.

The 90's were so much better

The 80's were so much better

The 70's were so much better

The 60's were so much better

The 50's were so much better

The 40's were so much better

The 30's were so much better

The 20's were so much better

The 10's were so much better

I don't think anyone would say the 20's and 30's were all that great. From around '29 till 34 or so, life really sucked.

Hitler had one testicle and was addicted to meth. His only saving grace was that he was a dramatic orator. His insistence of running literally everything is what truly cost Germany the war. The things that he's given credit for were other people's ideas.

Y'all may have the book smarts, but you lack the synthesis that places what you learn in your lives. It's my generation's fault. We didn't teach you. We were so caught up in our angst. Knowledge isn't something separate from your life. There's a deeper meaning that seems to be lost on 70% of you.

« on: February 11, 2017, 12:02:59 AM »
I've been reading on the Weimar lately and while the US hasn't been as open, there are similarities.

Maybe humanity is hard wired for a reset when we get too far from a design. Not an external one (i.e. God) but something genetic. When procreation is threatened too much a group mind (for lack of a better phrase) takes over to ensure species survival.

Maybe this explains Trump's election.

The Flood / Do not go gentle into that good night,
« on: February 10, 2017, 11:56:54 PM »
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
