This company is researching how to revive the brain deadThough technically accurate, the title of the article is misleading. This is about reviving people who are brain dead, but still on life support. Now, ethically, how does one grant permission for the study when they are brain dead? What about unforeseen side effects that could be worse than death? I am all for life saving procedures. The ethical logistics on this are fascinating to think about.
