if you have to ask "is it racist?" then it probably is, bigot.
But I know the joke is racist - that's the point of the joke. But telling a racist joke doesn't make me a racist.
sounds like something a racist would say.

well it depends. do you live in a city or something where you dont have to drive around, or in an area where everything is out of walking distance?
The latter, with the exception of my university.
The biggest impetus I have is knowing that I'm a burden on others--I carpool on my way to college, but if they're unavailable, I usually have to get my mother to do it for me. Embarrassing, but that's why I'm starting to learn.
People act like I can just get a license whenever. No, uh, I have to actually learn first. And I'm not one of those faggots who just wants a license and be done with it--I want to be absolutely sure that I'm comfortable on the road, or I'm never driving.
well, it's pretty much needed to read the book on your state traffic laws and such, but the only real way to learn "how" to drive is just by doing it. I can understand why someone would feel kinda timid to drive, but it's not that bad. the biggest key is to know EXACTLY where you're going and what lane to be in.

holy cow dude. you need to learn to drive. thats like....beyond practical.
No shit. I'm currently in the process, but it's still going to take me a long time to muster up the courage to go on the road.
It's also not beyond practical. It's just regular practical.

Asking which one is more important is silly.
I'd say I have a pretty well-rounded base of knowledge in both areas, but I probably lean more towards book smarts--my inability to do certain things, like drive and get a job, have hindered a lot of potential life experience I could and should have at this point, but my intense anxiety isn't really doing me any favors.
Book-wise, my weakest subject is history, by far--both in part due to my terrible education in the history department, and because the subject bores me to fucking death, so I can't exactly teach myself shit without falling asleep. There's also more practical things to be learning about.
The only thing you can do with history is argue with people about it, which doesn't really seem like a fantastic use of time--and the debates themselves are always mind-numbingly uninteresting. Like, debate about something interesting--like who burned down the Reichstag, or something. Fuck.

My metabolism is super duper high. Eating healthy would only make even more of a stick. Also I'm too broke for healthy food
Eating less, but more nutritious food may be an option.
But eating less won't help me gain weight.

Important note: The state right the South fought for was the right to own another human being.
Even if they don't want to admit that, Mississippi's Declaration of Secession clearly states slavery as a reason. Second sentence of the document.
