The End of Anarchy (or is it?)

First of all, note the day this was posted; it's not a bad April Fool's joke, guys.

Anarchy, as of this moment, will no longer be opening up every month.

Of course I didn't want to do this; the first few Anarchy's were incredibly entertaining, both in the amount of people participating and the multitude of strange threads that were created. It was chaos and it was beautiful.

Unfortunately, these last couple rounds have been both stagnant and detrimental to the forum. Truth is: people aren't participating as much as they were three or four rounds ago, and it's been on a steady decline. Coupled with that are the hurt feelings and grudges that live on after Anarchy ends. In theory, asking you all to compartmentalize your Anarchy experience from your Sep7agon experience worked, but in practice, the more vocal and naughty members carry over some of that into both on and off-site places.

And so I've decided to shut it down all together, until such a time comes that the board could be fun for everybody again. And with the coming plans of private groups, the board begins to become extremely obsolete.

Feel free to complain in here or leave some comments; if you have any threads in Anarchy that would not be prohibited outside of it, you can request that they be moved.

I won't be unleashing private groups to the whole wide world. It'll be invite only to established groups until we start getting more traffic, and as I (hopefully) convince a few groups/clans from other sites to come over and try it out.

How about relaxing the rules on The Flood a little bit then. In terms of NSFW content.

If Anarchy's gonna go, then we may as well relax the rules a little bit in The Flood. Especially the stuff which didn't harm the community like, NSFW content. Mostly referring to porn and gore.

Established groups? So we cannot make Sociopaths United again yet?

I'm saying it will take time to get past the testing, re-styling, testing, group companion app creation, and beta testing with established groups. After all that is done, and I open groups up to anyone, yes, you can make Sociopaths United.

Groups will not be open to everyone during the testing stuff?

And have the mains dead? Again, I can see this back firing badly. We shouldn't have private groups yet. Not unless we have like over 600 thousand members that are active or something.

That's just unrealistic.
I would say around 1000 members or so.

I kinda feel like a spectator and I'm not sure if I will keep posting here or not buti kinda just think you guys should work on getting more traffic here. Like since I started posting a couple days ago things have been really lazy. I'm impressed people have stuck around this long.

In comparison to other sites we have quite a bit of traffic for our size actually. But I agree we could always have more people.

I do have to agree that our traffic, as is now, can't sustain private groups once they finish testing and are open to the public. Yes, it would be a nice feature to have. But I do think it will be important to monitor how many people we actually having coming and posting on a weekly basis before a decision is made on releasing the feature.
