They're not lies. She has called Elegiac names when he's stated many times he doesn't like it. She has also revealed peoples identities when they were using the anon feature. Those are not lies

I wouldn't say lies, she did reveal account info, though I don't know the details, As for harassment its more along the lines of messing with people to rile them up, except without stopping.

The community isn't deciding. Cheat could choose the person with the least amount of votes to be mod. He's just seeing where you all stand.

The way I remember it was me Kiyo and Slash were tied for 2nd after Demonic and he picked Kiyo after popular demand >.>

No, she wasn't. The original two were Demonic and Slash. After we had a boatload of traffic and a few incidents while everyone was asleep, I decided to promote her since she was popular in the poll, had experience setting up a short-lived version of the offsite, and lived in a timezone we needed covered.

Perhaps I worded it poorly. People think they know who would be the best mods though, and people like SecondClass especially, should have no influence at all over site moderation. People are going to pick their friends which is why 90% of those names are up there. That is why it should not be up to the community, and Cheat should not even pay attention to the community's opinion on the matter because of that.

They choose people they like, so what? That's the essence of democracy. If the vast majority of the community dislikes a moderator then that moderator will be removed. I see no problem with this. And the reason why names like LC and Mr. Psychologist are on the ballot and getting a ton of votes is because they have displayed good traits that are considered admirable in a leader.
