He's pretty much correct on all his points. I'm not even to level 20 yet and I'm feeling the grind as my level bar goes up slower and slower.

I got to level 20 in one day just by playing on the harder difficulty levels and doing every PvE bounty, I didn't even have to repeat or grind anything haha

Seems spot on. And this was all from the Demo.

It seems to me like a lesser version of Borderlands. Sure, that too can be a grind but there's more variety in the main and side missions, and the random loot stuff is glitzed up to the max. (Plus always-on isn't really required while still revolving around co-op play)

As long as you're doing bounties and strikes leveling during the story isn't an issue.
The real grind starts at 20. You literally grind so you can buy armor so you can grind to get better armor so you can grind to level that armor up. All while playing the same missions/areas over and over.

It seemed similar to me, just like a posher yet boring version of Borderlands. No crazy gib-tacular violence and the like.

Really? I just played the Crucible and used bounties and, whoop, all of a sudden I'm level 20. If anything the game only becomes a grindfest when you need legendary gear after you hit the cap.

I can't finish a game of Crucible. Once it gets near the end of a match I get kicked to orbit without fail. It's really frustrating.

All I did when I hit Level 5 to level 18 was PvP. I recently went back to PvP and it's a broken shitfest with everyone using Legendary and Exotic weapons.
