What is with these Asian games having chronology issues?

Seriously. Metal Gear Solid has the same issue as Zelda (apparently). MGS3 takes place before 1, but came out after 2. 4 came out years later but takes placr after 2. PW and TPP (the two latest MGS titles) take place after 3 but before MG1.

Zelda III with a subtitle is more likely, given Zelda II: The Adventures of Link.

3 is a prequel because Kojima needed to tide the fans over while he worked out all the plot issues in 4.
