Would you play a Dark Souls styled Star Wars game?

Dark Souls styled Star Wars wouldn't mesh well at all. Keep them in their own universes. Crossovers make me cautious enough as it is.

Unless you could somehow make blocking with a Saber intuitive while being able to use/dodge force stuff.

Not exactly a "crossover" not what I meant.

Just more like a Star Wars game that PLAYS similar to Dark Souls, but different because you have to add it blasters, jetpacks, space and ship, etc.
Not the theme of it.

OT: I'd give it a shot most certainly. Not sure how well it would translate. I think something like Metroid, Zeda or Berserk would be far better for that style of game.

No, most of DS is melee. Unless you put it somewhere back when the sith/jedi war was a bloody meatgrinder. I cant see it working in a giant open world either unless you're crashed on a sith world or some shit and you have to fight your way off. That could be cool, you turn sith to invade others.
But no, with the way lightsabers should work it would be too much OHKO for people to enjoy i think, given all the crybabies that tried Nioh.
I think that if they wanted they could do a cool covershooter set in a clone or stromtrooper era.

No. Unless you limited yourself to lightsabers and blasters as alt weapons (bloodborne), it wouldn't play much like Dark Souls. And if you did that, you'd be doing a terrible job of adapting Star Wars.

I really hate the "X, but like Dark Souls" meme. It's just lazy and usually applies to things that wouldn't work at all.
