Fixed them for some and ruined them for others, the population tanked so I'm not inclined to say it was an overall good thing for reach.

The way Bungie did it is retarded. It should have been like the SMG where the circle traveled up your screen or like the semi's in CoD. In CoD when you fire something like an FAL you see the circle bouncing around your screen instead of it staying still like in Reach. With the why it is in CoD you have an idea of where your shots are landing. In Reach on the other hand since it stays in the same place you have no idea where you are hitting.

QuoteSword block is fair enough but I think it was fine, rather than the sword being a 10 kill grapetrain it could be checked. The same thing can be said about the shotgun which doesn't have a counter to it. Since that thing has around two dozen rounds which can be one hit kills should that have the same type of counter like what the sword has? After all that can be a 24 kill "grapetrain". The energy sword is the only power weapon in the game to have a counter to it. The only thing sword block did was destroy the weapon. It makes using it pointless when the person can simply block it and blast you with the shotgun.

QuotePaper vehicles, vaguely. I blame the DMR for that though, that fucking rifle ruined BTB <_<Even without the DMR the vehicles health is still shit.

QuoteIt wasn't perfect, but it was fun. The TU took that away. No, it made the game playable. What isn't fun is having someone enter armor lock and there's no counter at all to it. Waiting for the person to come out is a not a counter. A counter would be what 343 did to it.

Reach's shotgun was almost a power weapon. It's still my 2nd overall ToD. That thing was king of CQB

"Reach's shotgun was almost a power weapon"No shit. It's a shotgun. There were other shotguns in Halo before. You know what they were? Power Weapons.
