It's up to you, really. I haven't regretted my purchase, even though it was before the first price cut.

If you do get one, I can recommend getting Kid Icarus: Uprising. My favorite video game ever… of all time. Sure, there are other games that do certain elements a lot better, but as a full package, it is my number one.

I'm not really too concerned with design, and the regular 3DS is still like $50 more than the 2DS.

It's not so much about the look as it is about the bumpers being so high up and far way from the rest of the buttons.

I bought one when the Remakes were announced, I also picked up Pokemon X to play until they release. I was pretty sceptical of Gen 6 but my mind was changed once I'd actually got my hands on it. Youtube videos don't really do the game justice <.<

The Hoenn Remakes are going to be incredible and I'd certainly recommend getting a 3ds >.>

They're pretty good games, to be honest. The only complaint is that the areas and routes are way too small and it sort of breaks the illusion when you're forced to wait for the next area to load.

Thanks for the advice fellas.

Went into gamestop to grab a 3DS last night but they were running a sale on 2DS until Sept 30th. So I grabbed a 2DS for $99.

Yeah. Also Link Between Worlds was good. And nintendo has basically every game ever made for nes or snes available on the store for 3ds. They are going through the process of adding more and more games to that list too, and theyre all dirt cheap. So yeah, I'd say its worth it.
