Paying for online better mean the service will finally be adequate instead of getting dropped from Peer to Peer with kids from Lagistan constantly.

Hopefully the paid online means we get an actual party system, some kind of anti-cheat and, y'know, everything else that should've been there with the Wii and Wii-U. If not I'm just going to straight up dumpster any plans to get one further down the track. They're hardly looking any better than the Xbox One's 2013 E3.

They basically describe it as little more than a portable Wii U.

I liked the Wii U, so I'm fine with this so long as it actually has games. Going by the announced games so far, it won't have much for the first six or so months after release, but holiday through 2018 looks like fair game.

The console is basically only going to have one game (that isn't even exclusive) for the first 4 months of it's life. I'm not sure how that's going to affect it.

It's really sad to see how quickly the reception has turned sour. Here's to praying that they can impress more at E3. The switch is more than likely Nintendo's last shot at getting this right.

Not buying into the Nintendo Switch hype at all. Nothing on it looks interesting to me and the removal of Mii stuff and a paid online subscription just puts me off even more. Maybe if it gets a price drop and a non-gimmicky good Pokemon game I'll consider it but until then I'll enjoy watching people lose their minds over it then slowly experience the inevitable disappointment.
