And I'd love to hear your explanation for the existence of console exclusives

You can like PS1 looking polygons with Lara Croft pointy tits, but that won't change the fact that modern games on higher performing systems will look better.Do you understand what I'm asking you? Why is higher poly objectively "better"? Why does "more" automatically mean "better"?

I'm just saying that going "WELL MAYBE I THINK THAT A GAME IS BETTER IF IT LOOKS LIKE SHIT" is a stupid argumentCultural relativism isn't a great comparison, but whatever. If you're filming a movie that's designed to authenticate the experience of living in the '70s, the director has the opportunity to make an artistic decision: Film in 30fps, because they couldn't film any better than that in the '70s. Artistically, that's the better decision. 30fps is BETTER than 60fps in that context. Has that ever been done before? I don't know, but there's another example.Have you seen Raging Bull? Great movie. Martin Scorsese made it in 1980. However, he chose to film it in black and white. Why? I'm not sure. But it was his artistic decision, and some might argue that the movie would be worse if it was in color. Yes--Black and white is better than color, in that context. That's the point I'm making. Most cinema runs in 25fps

I hate the fact that there are multiple consoles on the market--I think there should just be one gaming console, period, and then none of us would be having this debate.
mommy and daddy never forked out for an 800 gaming rig for me. I want to play games so never could commit for saving up money for it myself. I could commit 380 euros to get consoles so yeah...
We're not talking about movies (even though they run at 24 fps for the majority of them)

Because it's easier on the eyes, it just feels physically better to experience.
I mad a movie once

My only gripe is that if you're gonna commit to one, it better be consistent, because dips in it are some of the most annoying things ever that suck you out of a game.

Would be its own game console.

I only argue when people try to justify consoles at being better at something that a PC obviously outdoes them at

The point that I'm making is that 60fps can't be objectively better than 30fps--I've painted a number of scenarios where 30fps would be preferable. You call it "pseudo-philosophy"--I call it making my point. If I'm not allowed to make my point, I don't know what else to do.
