I honestly think that indies should not get in. We have Nintendo characters and very special third-party characters that have a rich history with Nintendo, not couple-year-old indie characters like Shovel Knight.

As for my vote, I was considering a Mother character, but I assumed I wouldn't get anymore luck past Lucas, so I voted for Wolf on my computer and Banjo and Kazooie on my phone because of Phil Spencer showing interest. *prepares to be crucified for voting twice.*

And really, it's not a vote, it's just a suggestion box to the creators. I wouldn't even be surprised if this was just to gain some extra headlines. I mean, just look at what happened with the recent Wave 4 amiibo pre-orders. We've also seen WayForward and YachtClubGames advertising for people to vote for their characters.
